[size= 1] Well, in the room, each thing in there is basically what created his own "The Boogyman." (The Action Figure, The Purple Electricity, That Crow at the top of his bed, and the closets). And each person basically has their own Boogyman while growing up and it's made by the things around them. Once he faced the boogyman, and broke the things around him (the action figure in half, broke the electricity ball, the crow dying and him hitting it with a bat) the boogyman left. The reason everyone thought he was crazy was because no one else could see it but him... at points however, they would see there own boogyman.
Hmm.. I don't know. That's what I took from it. Maybe I'm wrong.

I love movies when the ending explain's the whole beginning. I'm not going to explain it incase you havent seen it, but I loved it.
