What is the best opening scene in a horror movie??

I have to say that the best is the Casey Becker's (Drew Barrymore) murder on SCREAM is the best opening scene that i've ever seen in a horror movie.

What do you think?.

er... I dunno.. but I would say when Cotton got murdered (and his girlf) in Scream 3.

I didn't like any of those movies. I think the best horror film of all time from biginning to end would have to be The Amityville Horror or The Exorcist. I'm a horror movie buff. I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Definitely the Scream opening. I mean, how can you beat that. It was scary and awesome. One of the scariest movies of the late 90s.

out of those choices, I picked the opener of Scream.

i also think that the beginning of Jaws is pretty freaky.

I voted for the scream opening w/ drew. The other one was good but the last line he had was really lame (lol i cannot think of which one it was because the DVD has like 5 of them!)

scream 2 in the movie theatre where she died in the theatre and they all thought it was a stunt.
