"Because of Winn-Dixie," which features Dave Matthews playing a drifter, is finally going to hit the big screen after several delays. The movie — based on the children's book of the same name — also stars Jeff Daniels, Cicely Tyson and Eva Marie Saint, and will now open nationwide February 18. (Mtvnews.com)

I actually want to see this movie just 'cause Dave is in it. Who else has seen the previews? It does look pretty bad, but it also could be a lot worse. I'm only saying that to make myself look better as I type this kinda weary of what you all are going to say about me. I know, I know, I'm a loser. Big deal.

Hopefully there will be new Dave songs on the soundtrack. Woo!

Oh Goodness. When I worked at Winn Dixie they sent us this little newsletter informing us about the book/movie. I don't want to have anything to do with anything containing the words "Winn-Dixie". I purged myself of their filth. Ok, tad overdramatic, I know.
