AVP: Alien vs. Predator - Eternal Allegiance

I saw this movie yesterday and loved it! Almost everything about it, it was just amazing. I seriously didn't even feel like watching this movie becasue I didn't think it was going to be that good and it turned out to be 10x better than I could ever expect! I LOVED the fight scenes, wow!

I knew Predator was going to win, the Aliens didn't stand a chance.

I thought it was going to end so corny with the humans winning or something when she was lying there with the dead Predator. I'm glad they showed the invisble body of the predator, I didn't expect to see that so that was really cool. I LOVED the special effects, it was really cool seeing the girl and the Predator fighting and helping eachother, I never thought that was going to happen. haha, for some reason, when the Predator showed her that he was going to use the bomb, I loved the way she said, "Good, I hope it kills every FUCKING one of them." I dunno, that line made the movie better for some reason.

Oh yeah, and the "You ugly mother...".

I dont think there's going to be a part 2 becasue the Predators can obviously kill the baby Alien that came out of the Predators stomach, right?

There was just so much I loved about this movie.

Yeah, Friday the 13th.

I actually saw it the day it came out and I had to leave in the middle because my freinds mom was calling and we had to drop him off. We left right at th climax, which sucked alot. So we went again yesterday and I saw the entire movie, it was great.

i wanna see that movie, since i saw the other day how they made the movie and how they made the alien and the preditors, now i'm not scared lol

I saw it Friday as well, it was good, a lil to predictable... cant wait to see the next one.

Yeah, you're right Luis, it was a little too predictable, but it was a great movie none-the-less.

Also, Luis, you might want to put a spoiler at the end of your post, I would hate to read that if I havn't seen it. Plus, read my spoiler and it should prove that wrong.

I saw the movie now, and even though it was a rather crappy picture, I still got to enjoy it quite a lot! Most definitely going to see it on the big screen once it comes in theatres here couple of months from now.

No, because the little baby Alien that came out of the Predator's chest is not a normal Alien. It's a PredAlien. PredAliens are 10 times more powerful than normal Aliens and are much harder to kill. Makes sense too, as Predators are much stronger and faster and all that good stuff than humans are also.

Just take a look at Alien 3, which features the "dog alien". It was much faster than the Aliens from the first two movies, and had a diferent style of killing as well.

However, when you put things in retrospect, what will happen on that Predator ship is pretty much the same as you saw in Alien 3, only this time with Predators instead of humans. Humans prevailed though, so I will assume the Preds will also.

The point is that not all the Aliens are destroyed, as one survived in the form of a PredAlien. That's incentive for more movies to follow, as I'm sure will happen. These two species are the best killing machines the movie industry ever came up with, aside from the Terminators. There's a lot of potential with these babies, especially the Preds, since next to AVP there have only been two Predator movies made.

I agree that things were a little predictable, however I can't really speak on that subject, as I'm a fan and thus know everything there's about to know regarding backgrounds of both species and how they intertwine. It doesn't bother me in the least though, I loved it just as much.

Many said that this movie was gonna suck because all crossover movies suck, and they use "Freddy vs Jason" as an example. I think that this movie proved the opposite by far, since there's actually a good storyline which contains actual history between the two species. Well done I do think.

Others said that it was gonna suck cause it was based on a videogame. However, the creatures existed long before the game. *nods* The game just brought the two together. The movie didn't suffer from that either thankfully.

The only thing I don't get is that their vision masks have a sort of x-ray feature, that allows them to see right into someone's body so that they can identify the presence of an Alien infant inside. Why did they not see the presence of one inside of T-Pred's body?

Although they weren't wearing helmets there. Would still be a little careless not to check though, heh.

Or did they know there was one, but took it along anyways? You know, the greater the challenge, the more honorable the hunt? Who knows...
