Question Any Stargate SG-1 fans here?

Ok, I know I'm showing my realllly nerdy/sci-fi/IT student side here, but I'm just wondering whether anyone else here likes Stargate (the TV series or movie)...

They just started showing series 5 again here now so that's why I brought it up, woohoo!

Ok pick a favourite character - I have to go with Jack, his smart-ass comments crack me up...

Hmmm... I only know a movie called "Stargate" (There's the Sun God Ra in it and a futuristic pyramid)... Is that more or less what you were talking about...?

But they are waaaaaay behind here damnit. I'm stuck in season 2 right now... *cries*


My favs are Jack (Richard D has always been one of my fav actors) and Teal'C.

Yeah that's it. Kurt Russell played Jack in the movie.

They started a TV series about it a couple of years back. Here, Jack is played by Richard Dean Anderson. It's a good show.

Yeah, Stargate is cool. I have already seen all off series 5, prepare for a shock at the end of the series.

My favourite character is either Jack or Tealc, because as Chewie said Jack's comments are just so funny, and Tealc is just .

Yep that's the one! Bloody great movie - seen it about 5 times. They made a spin-off series from the movie which was set a short time after the movie finished and it's been going for about 5 seasons now - great stuff. The 'stargate' allows the characters to visit planets throughout the galaxy instantly so you can imagine there are quite a lot of storylines there.

Stinger - that sucks you guys are that far behind - we had that years ago, heh. I can't even remember what happened back then...

Me neither. It's been a long time since it's been on TV. If only they would start showing the rest now... damn Dutch TV stations.. they just stopped in the middle of the season. Maybe I can rent the tapes or something. If they have them. Oh well.

We get that all the time over here. On BBC Voyager is interupted every other week because of some sporting event, and Sky 1 has a habit of stopping Andromeda half way though the season for no reason.
When you get too see the rest of Stargate I promise you that you will love it. The series just keeps getting better and better.

Star Gate is pretty cool - havn't seen it in a while though - don't even know if it's being broadcast on Danish TV anymore...
