The motivation is completely different as well!

Buffy quits ... why? Well cause Sarah wants to quit after 7 seasons ...

David doesn't want to quit, the show's damn exciting and I'm sure it brings in enough money due it's popularity ... so why not renew the contract? I hope if Buffy quits and if WB doesn't renew Angel's contract, that another tv media group steps up and buys Angel's contract ... they could make it even more exciting cause they could give characters like Faith, Willow and Dawn for example more input than just some cameo roles ...
