I couldnt watch it cuz i dont have cable!!!!! ERRRRRRR that sux! I really wanted to see it, but wouldnt it be better if they had Madonna as the new Icon? I mean they had janet last year and that was great I wuz just hoping madonna would be next, but i guess not. Maybe next year. But Aerosmith is great I really like them too.

I thought the show sucked @ss! I didn't want to sit for 1 hour and 50 minutes watching overrated "talent" hack classic Aerosmith tunes. Train's performance of "Dream On" was a nightmare. No one...and the Prince means....NO ONE.....does it better than Steven Tyler.

Kidrock sucks as always. I'm even betting like at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame last year, Aerosmith didn't want him there again for Icon. Rock was only there showing off his trampy future wife.

The only good act besides Aerosmith was Pink. She was ok. What I think really sucks is the fact, the men of the hour themselves were only on for 10 f&cking minutes! Yeah it's a tribute and they shouldn't perform that long, but who went out there to see boring talent? No one....who went there to see Aerosmith...EVERYONE! 'nuff said. MTV Icon my @ss! What a dumb show.

the 'artists' they had are the same people the VJs are always drooling over and pick for specials, they're on the speed dial

and how many more Kid Rock appearances must we endure? his time has past

I agree that some of those people do appear on MtV all the time and are picked to do stuff for the network--but not all of them. This doesn't mean they are 'suck-ups' or are 'over-hyped'. It IS ok for people to have promotional teams and a good label that gets them out there performing. How many times do we see Britney on MTV??

And I never said anything about Kid Rock because I don't like the guy or his music. He wasn't one of the people I was looking forward to seeing.

as long as we agree on that, , but Britney isn't on that much, just when she promoting her projects
