Of course I'll watch it. I love watching things with big hopes and then being majorly dissapointed. no sarcasm intended. But the performances are usually kick ass. but the show itself is a yawn. And again i have to say i hate what they did with using high def cameras or something for the past 2 years. It ruins the entire show imo.

Actually no. I think most people have different interests then what's number 1 on the radio. But the media doesnt see that. I think as the Xtina fans did, they all created pachts and came together to shun the better videos. *cough*toxic*cough*

90% sure she'll win nada. But in the other 10% she'll win 1 award. for Best Pop. Sorry i have lost faith that she'll ever get a VMA.
This year is prone to be a spectactular and overwhelmingly dismal show. I have a feeling it's gonna be the worst show in years. just my gut and my head telling me the same thing. I hope Britney performs or at least appears and presents.
OT: I was just thinking about how 'Everytime' became a hit with only a music vid. Can you remember any promotion she did for 'Everytime'? well i mean when the single was finally released not prior to that. isnt that amazing. i hope if she performs she'll sing Everytime live. That's my dream for the VMAs this year. A dream soon to be squashed like a bug on the highway flying merrily and then your winshieled drives straight into it.
My appreciation for the VMAs took a nosedive last year. When they SHUNNED JOHNNY CASH! He had the best video last year. And who beats him? Justin Timberlake? Missy Elliot? The only award he got was the crappy Best Cinematography. I was so angry at MTV. They should of been crucified for that injustice. Well maybe i went a little too far but i made my point... i hope. |
LoL. Yes, MTV is very screwed up. Hey but dont forget about Susan Lucci. She lost 19 times and finally won something. *i forgot what award* But she still won. I think britney will win, just later on. And your right, I think this years really will suck. Especially because there is no host.
