yeah, i watched him limp off the pitch.......it's a shame i suppose, but the football fan inside me is hoping that he isn't fit for the second round, cos there is a distinct possibility that England could get France in the second round. i know that makes me an arse but i can't help it.

thats bad news but i really dont want france to win the cup this year anyways

i'm pulling for italy since im italian, obviously!! lol

if italy gets eliminated i want argentina to win the cup

Indeed. Zidane is an excellent football player and it´s too bad he can´t play for the first 2 games at the WC.
But I´m almost sure France will get into the 8th finals, so we have the chance to see Zidane in more action.

Yeah ... if Zidane's injury doesn't have any complications ... it's 90% sure right now he'll be ready for game 3

DAMN that sucks. I was looking forward to seeing some of the best players, including Zidane, and now he's gonna miss 2 games. But I'm sure he'll still have loads of games to play, as France will probably go a long way this year.
