That's probably because basketball isn't so popular in Europe (Denmark). If you'd be in the US, basketball is a sport that's on almost 24/7.

What is your favorite sport to watch?

Football (soccer), rugby union, cricket, golf, formula one.

these are brilliant to watch for me and if i had to pick one event from those codes listed above it would be:

soccer: uefa champions league
rugby: sa vs new zealand
cricket: sa vs australia (Tests)
golf: Ryder Cup
formula one: monaco

Yea I know.. But its sad. Because it is a really cool game - I play it myself.

Well, I don't really find football (soccer ) interesting. Its a bunch of guys chasing a ball on a VERY big field..?! So all that Champions League doesn't really affect me. But WC IS exiting - even though Denmark never wins

You didn't say that.... I didn't hear you say that... that's awfull... where is your spirit young girl... Denmark is rockin' and we just have to win again... maybe not now, but someday - while I'm still alive that is.... And check it out anyways... ever heard of Thomas Helmig - now that's a damn good reason to watch it....LOL

Exactly - and we will again, someday I just know it!

Anyways, I actually remember when we won and I was just 6 years old... It was such an amazing thing - I remember watching it and then when they got back I was at the airport... what a feeling!

yesterday i spent +4hrs watching UEFA STORIES, and they had every EURO CHAMP since the 1960's (i think) it was brilliant .. and long. Germany have been so consistent, always in the reckoning, so with that in mind, despite their rotten form, one can never count them out. I am looking forward to the massive tie: Netherlands VS. Germany.
