Man United won't be weighed down in their pursuit of honours this season - at least not by their smart new kit anyway.
The Reds will be wearing the lightest shirt ever produced by their kit manufacturers Nike.
The ultra-modern technology has produced a shirt weighing just 155 grammes. It will cost £39.99.
The new first-choice red kit replaces the black flashing on the shoulders with white and the club crest has been moved to a central position.
It is United's eleventh shirt in the last four seasons and, for the first time, a women's cut of the kit will be available as a replica version.
As our picture of first team stalwarts Ryan Giggs, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Tim Howard, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes and Mikael Silvestre shows, the shorts and socks have also been updated, too. |
