I can tell you one thing that has been having MAJOR effects on the popularity of World Wrestling Entertainment as we know it: THE ROCK, and his desire to do movies. It is completely screwing the WWE's ratings. He is, without a doubt, the one that sells more seats than any single wrestler in the business. He is the top dog right now, and as long as he isn't there, the tickets wont sell like they should.

He also plays a role in the storylines crashing. Because, we all know, he can take storylines to higher levels than could be imagined. He is one of the most convincing actors in the business, which helps bring the quality of the storylines up.

So The Rock's movie carreer is what is fucking over the WWE quite a bit. Face it, if he's not there, who is their headliner? HHH? He's good, but he's no peoples champion. Hogan? A little too old to take all of the spotlight.

You're damn right, Swany. I agree 100%. And it's a damn shame that there are so many fans that can't see all the greatness in the other superstars in the WWE.

The Rock needs to pick a career and stick with it, in my opinion.

I'm glad you liked it. Unfortunately, it's one of the last of that kind I can type about wrestling. Because I'm not able to watch anymore, I can't really get into the discussion of today anymore. Hell I don't even know who John Cena and Batista are. I have never even seen a complete Brock Lesnar wrestling match. It feels like being hungry, but not being able to eat cause there is no food.

I miss the days where I sat down, turned on the TV and felt excited for another 2 hours of pro-wrestling entertainment.

Nitro and Thunder were my favorite TV shows. When those stopped, it were RAW and SmackDown. Right now I don't watch any television anymore. There is just absolutely nothing here that I would turn on my TV for anymore. I'm gonna move to the US, heh.
