Just less than two hours since the show ended, and What can I say? That kicked ass. Our seats probably couldn't have been better. We were 3rd row, but right next to the entrance. So close, that when Brock Lesnar had a little flip out and shook the barriers, it hit me in the knee.
Before the show started, we saw the arrival of a few superstars, including Matt Hardy, Funaki, Dawn Marie, and I even got an autograph from Rey Mysterio Jr.
Here is a rundown of the show (You'll have to forgive me, I have a bad short term memory):
1st Match: SHO FUNAKI vs TAJIRI:
Quite an interesting match. A lot of the moves, and expressions from the wrestlers were quite funny. I think this one was more comic relief than anything.

GOT TO TOUCH: FUNAKI
2nd Match: TWO LOCALS (Teddy and BullDog)
Cant remember their names. both wore fruity pants. And at one point everyone engaged in a "TEDDY SUCKS" chant. Winner of this match: Bull Dog. (Not the british bulldog!)
3rd Match: BULL BUCHANAN vs THE BIG VALBOWSKI
I cant really remember much details of this match, but I do remember that there were times when Bull looked like he was gonna win, and vice versa. The audience was routin for Val. At one point, I tried starting a "BULL SHIT" chant, but that didnt catch on.

4th Match: BILLY KIDMAN & SHANNON MOORE vs. JOHN CENA & SHELTON BENJAMIN
Well, when I read this match in the program, I was confused which to route for. But I quickly made up my mind when, on his way to the ring, Cena told a little kid in the row in front of me, who couldn't be more than 10 years old, to, and I quote "Fuck off", I knew who I was routing for. I, in return, yelled "Fuck off" to Cena. Dont know if he heard me, but I did yell it. Later in the tag team match Cena spit on the audience, I think by accident, but still. A really good match.

5th Match: LANCE STORM vs. D-VON
First off, D-Von came into the ring, and started bad mouthing our town, whining about how no successful superstars ever came out of Calgary, then went on to diss the Hart family, commenting that the Sharp Shooter was the only thing that he would credit Bret Hart for, and that he would only give little credit at that. Then of course, Calgary's own, Lance Storm emerged from the entrance, to a no less than ear peircing cheer. He got into the ring, and defended Calgary. Then he gave D-Von a Calgary-Worthy beating. Sure, he took a few bumps here and there, but can you guess how the match ended? D-Von tapped while Lance had him locked in the sharp shooter. That was one hell of a reaction!

6th Match:
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP BROCK LESNAR vs. CHRIS JERICHO
A bit of a repeat from the previous match, a Heyman-less Brock came in running his mouth about how Calgary sucks, and blah blah blah, and how he wanted to get out of Calgary ASAP and demanded that a ref get his ass out into the ring, and anyone willing to go for the title to get their ass into the ring as well. Of course, Calgary/Stu Hart Dungeon-trained Y2J Chris Jericho. *THIS WAS MY FAVOURITE PART OF THE SHOW* He came in, grabbed the mic, and said "Brock would you just
SHUT THE HELL UP, you are boring these 6, 000 Jerichoholics" and continued on with a speech that probably hasn't been heard for nearly a year. And we even participated in the "Never, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER, be the same again" bit of the speech. Then they got into quite the match. Both did excellent. Jericho put Lesnar into the Walls of Jericho at one point. But of course, since it was a) A house show, and b) Jericho isn't a SmackDown superstar, Lesnar finished him with an F-5. It was during the beginning of this match, when Lesnar hit me in the knee with the barrier. Matt Hardy came in and interfered, unsuccessfully.

7th Match: CHRIS BENOIT vs MATT HARDY
I dont really remember much of this match. Just that it started out with Matt Hardy insulting Calgary (again), whining about the weather (all in an attempt to treat him as a heel) since it just snowed here (DAMN YOU WEATHER MAN!) I do know however, the winner of the match.

8th Match:
CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP REY MYSTERIO vs JAMIE NOBLE
NIDIA WAS THERE!!! lmfao, that was the gighlight of the match. She came very close to us! A few hurricanranas here & there, by Mysterio. A bulldog, a 619, interupted by Nidia made this a very flashy match. Mysterio ended the match with a 619 hitting noble in the face, which in turn hit Nidia who was hugging Noble from behind. Sent Nidia across the ring. This, of course, was after Rey lost the match. Side Note: Mysterio wasn't wearing his contacts.

9th Match:
BRA & PANTIES MATCH TORRIE WILSON vs DAWN MARIE
Though I like Torrie better, in this match, I was routin for Dawn Marie, for obvious reasons
Well, I wasnt entirely disappointed, but Torrie won. Which is fine by me. It kicked damn ass though. I got a few pictures of that.

10th Match:
BROTHERS UNITE FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY!! EDGE & CHRISTIAN vs. EDDIE & CHAVO GUERRERO
hehe! I LOVED this match. The guerreros were very rude and refused to interact with the audience as they entered. But, no big loss. Next to enter, was Christian. Who got a mild amount of cheering. Then, of course, to a lot of cheering, came EDGE!!! Before he got even half way down the aisle to the ring, the crowd loudly and hopefully chanted "5 second pose". Which wasn't given to us. The Guerrero's started taunting EnC by trying to convince Edge not to trust Christian, but the match went forth. A lot of action. A failed Conchairito (Sp?), which led to a failed conchairito on Edge and Christian. the match ended with both EnC pinning the Guerreros at the same time. After Christian started to leave, Edge grabbed the mic, and convinced him to come back for a 5-second pose. The pose finally came true, and we left happy. I will hopefully have pictures later.
