Hey guys! Just recently over @ WWE.com, 2 HUGE matches were named for the kickoff of Saturday Night's Main Event - WWE Champ John Cena & Triple H vs. Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, & The World Heavyweight Champion in a Handicap Match and HBK vs. Shane McMahon in a Street Fight. Here's info on the matches for the SNME Kickoff Show, enjoy!

SmackDown vs. RAW 3-On-2 Handicap Match
March 19th, 2006

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the participants in the WrestleMania 22 main events will ollide when the RAW team of WWE Champion John Cena & Triple H takes on the SmackDown trio of Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio & the World Heavyweight Champion.

On the Feb. 27 edition of RAW, Cena & Triple H went face to face, trying to get the psychological advantage before their WWE Championship Match on April 2. After the two men jawed back and forth and looked ready to come to blows, WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon interrupted the showdown. McMahon announced that on Saturday Night’s Main Event, the two would have to co-exist as partners and represent RAW against the three men in the SmackDown main event in a Handicap Match.

While there is no love lost between Cena & The Game, the SmackDown team is just as tense. Randy Orton & Rey Mysterio, the two challengers for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, have been at each other’s throats since Rey eliminated the Legend Killer to win the Royal Rumble Match. Also, they will not know who their partner will be until March 3, when Undertaker or Kurt Angle walk out of Friday Night SmackDown as the World Heavyweight Champion.

Will the numbers game prove to be too much for The Champ & The Game, or will the RAW team overcome the odds and be victorious? Tune in to Saturday Night’s Main Event on March 18 to find out.

Shawn Michaels vs. Shane McMahon In A Street Fight
March 18th, 2006

Since the night after Christmas, Mr. McMahon has made it his mission to make Shawn Michaels’ life a living hell. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, HBK will get a chance to get some retribution when he meets Shane McMahon in a Street Fight.

On the Dec. 26, 2005 edition of RAW, HBK told Mr. McMahon to get over the Montreal Incident; Shawn’s comments irked the WWE chairman, who told HBK that if he didn’t watch his step, he’d get screwed worse than Bret Hart ever did.

Over the next few weeks, Mr. McMahon did everything he could to throw HBK off his game, including banning Sweet Chin Music during one match. However, the biggest blow came at the Royal Rumble, when Shane McMahon made a surprise appearance and eliminated HBK from the Royal Rumble Match. Shane struck again the next night on RAW, attacking HBK with a chair as he jawed with his father.

In subsequent weeks, Mr. McMahon continued to toy with Shawn, taking him out of the Road to WrestleMania Tournament and announcing a mandatory Shawn Michaels Retirement Party, where HBK would be forced to walk away from WWE forever. Instead of signing his retirement papers, though, HBK ripped them up and threw them in McMahon’s face.

The next week, Mr. McMahon made Michaels take on four members of the Spirit Squad in a Handicap Match. After the Spirit Squad got disqualified, HBK’s former partner Marty Jannetty made a surprising return to help Shawn fend off a 5-on-1 attack. Mr. McMahon announced later that night that he would offer Jannetty a full-time WWE contract, but Marty would have to kiss his ass to get it.

On the Feb. 27 edition of RAW, the WWE Chairman offered Marty the contract. When Marty wouldn’t kiss his ass, he called out Chris Masters, telling Jannetty that he would get the contract if he could escape the Master Lock. As the Masterpiece had the hold locked on, Mr. McMahon made him bring Marty down to kiss his ass. HBK interrupted, hitting Masters with Sweet Chin Music and stalking the WWE Chairman, whose pants were still around his ankles. Before he got to him, however, Shane McMahon attacked HBK from behind and laid him out with a chairshot.

As Mr. McMahon berated an unconscious HBK, he announced that Michaels would take on Shane in a Street Fight at Saturday Night’s Main Event. After Shane made the defenseless HBK kiss his father’s ass, Mr. McMahon then said he would kick Shawn’s ass at WrestleMania as well.

Before HBK gets to Mr. McMahon though, he must get through Shane-o-Mac. Can HBK survive, or will Shane soften him up enough to make him easy prey for his father at WrestleMania 22? Tune in to Saturday Night’s Main Event on March 18 on NBC to find out.

I STILL think that HBK/ Shane StreetFight should be at Wrestlemania instead of on this and save Shawn the torture of wrestling Vince.

Hey guys! 2 more matches have been added to the card for this weekend, for Saturday Night's Main Event - The Boogeyman vs. Booker T and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. JBL in a Beer Drinking Contest. Here's the latest on both matches -

Boogeyman vs. Booker T
March 18th, 2006

For weeks now, Booker T and his wife Sharmell have been terrorized by SmackDown’s most bizarre Superstar – Boogeyman. Everywhere Booker T and Sharmell go, the worm-eating Boogeyman appears to follow.

On the Feb. 10 edition of SmackDown, Booker T was out to provide some commentary for the United States Championship Fatal Fourway No. 1 Contender Match. Booker T was still the U.S. Champion at the time, so he got a bird’s eye view at who his next challenger would be. After witnessing Chris Benoit win the match, Booker T tried to get out of his title defense at No Way Out. Theodore Long refused to grant his wish, so an angry Booker T went to his car, ready to leave. But when he opened up the trunk of his car, he and Sharmell shrieked out in terror as it was filled with thousands of worms. Where there are worms, Boogeyman is surely right around the corner.

Then on the Feb. 24 edition of SmackDown, Booker T and Sharmell were out for commentary once again. The Dicks were already in the ring and found out they would be in a Handicap Match. Realizing they would have the numbers advantage, they were ecstatic – until they realized they would be facing Boogeyman. After making short work of The Dicks, Boogeyman came down to the announce table, scaring off Booker T and Sharmell. Before Boogeyman left, though, he covered the entire SmackDown announce table in worms.

Boogeyman didn’t stop there, though. Booker T went one on one with Tatanka on the March 3 edition of SmackDown. Booker T seemed to have things going his way, but after he connected with a Scissors Kick, Boogeyman’s music hit, distracting Booker. Boogeyman entered through the crowd and crept up on an unsuspecting Sharmell who was at the announce table. Booker and Sharmell quickly retreated as Boogeyman munched on some more worms.

Booker T and Sharmell had enough of Boogeyman. They wanted him to be stopped. So, they came to the ring one week later with a bag full of what they said was hate mail directed towards Boogeyman. They said they received mail from the NAACP, PETA, Worm Digest and the President’s Council on Physical Fitness. Booker demanded that Theodore Long do something about the bizarre Boogeyman. Theodore Long appeared on the Titan Tron and said that Booker would have to take care of business on his own. He announced that at Saturday Night’s Main Event it would be Booker T vs. Boogeyman.

Can Booker T finally stop Boogeyman and restore some normalcy to his life? Or will the worm-obsessed monster continue to haunt Booker T and his lovely wife? Watch Saturday Night’s Main Event March 18 at 8/7 CT on NBC to find out.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. JBL
March 18th, 2006

Stone Cold Steve Austin hadn’t been heard from since October. But the Texas Rattlesnake finally broke his silence March 7 in an interview with WWE.com. He touched on several things ranging from his latest projects, his upcoming movie and inducting Bret “Hit Man” Hart into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 1. But a large portion of the interview centered around the greatest wrestlers ever to come out of the Lonestar state – Texas.

Who better to talk about Texas wrestling than the Texas Rattlesnake himself? Stone Cold talked about a wide array of Texans including Dusty Rhodes, The Funks, Eddie Guerrero and even current WWE Superstar Shawn Michaels. When asked about JBL, however, Stone Cold gave him credit for being from Texas, but that was where the compliments ended.

Needless to say this infuriated the self-proclaimed Wrestling God, and he made it known on the March 10 edition of SmackDown. JBL came to the ring and called out Stone Cold. The media maven said that he was a better wrestler, a better entertainer and a bigger draw than Stone Cold ever was. He then proceeded to challenged Stone Cold to a Beer Drinking Contest for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

It’s clear that JBL wants to beat the Texas Rattlesnake at his own game. Stone Cold is known for celebrating with a couple…well more than a couple…beers practically every time he comes to the ring. But JBL is no slouch when it comes to kickin’ back a few, either. Along with his tag team partner at the time, Faarooq, JBL used to be routinely seen drinking a beer and smoking a cigar backstage or at a local watering hole. The APA even became known for their signature match – the Barroom Brawl.

That was then, though, and this is now. JBL has turned over a new leaf and has cleaned up his image. But even though he now lives in New York, JBL is still a Texan and still enjoys beer. So, will JBL be able to go back to his roots and defeat Stone Cold at his own game? Or will the Texas Rattlesnake make a triumphant return at Saturday Night’s Main Event and drink like he’s never drank before? Tune in to Saturday Night’s Main Event, March 18 at 8/7 CT on NBC.

Hey guys! Another match for this Saturday Night's Main Event has been added to the card. In what was originally supposed to be Trish & Torrie Wilson against Candice & Victoria is now Trish & Mickie James vs. Candice & Victoria. Here's info on the latest match -

Trish Stratus & Mickie James vs. Candice & Victoria
March 18th, 2006

On RAW, Women's Champion Trish Stratus defeated Victoria after getting some timely assistance from Torrie Wilson. Victoria and Candice were furious, and shortly thereafter it was announced that Trish & Torrie would face Victoria & Candice at Saturday Night's Main Event.

But soon after, Trish discovered Torrie injured and unconscious. Candice's Playboy issue was left on Torrie's broken body as a calling card.

The events left Trish without a partner for Saturday Night's Main Event -- something that Mickie James couldn't let happen. Despite being asked by Trish for "some space," Mickie approached her idol and begged to take Torrie's place. With no recourse, Trish reluctantly accepted Mickie's offer. But Trish definitely seemed still concerned about Mickie's recent obsessive behavior.

What will happen when these sexy and dangerous Divas tangle in prime time? Watch Saturday Night's Main Event to find out.

OK, Prediction time from Duffyboy!

Trish Stratus & Mickie James VS Candice & Victoria

This as a match should be not too bad. Trish and Vic should do a good job as always and Mickie & Candice should have fun kicking each others heads in. Mind you if they don't pull the Mickie heel turn on Trish tonight I think I might DIE! I do NOT want another Trish vs Candice match! Candice and Vic to go over as Mickie screws Trish (no pun intended!)

Boogeyman VS Booker T

Poor Booker T. Poor, poor, poor Booker T. The Boogeyman has not lost a single match and all of them have been 30 second squashes. Why is that you wonder? Because Boogeyman sucks fucking cock. Boogeyman to win, Booker T & any unlucky sod who pays to see this match, to lose.

Beer Drinking Contest

This should be a laugh and one of the highlights of the night. Plenty of Beer Drinkin and Ass Whuppin on display. I feel that Austin should easily win although if the contest is designed to get the participant pole-axed then JBL should win by a mile, give or take a stunner or two!

Shane O Mac VS HBK

Shane to win to further the McMahons over HBK story, the match to be good. Should be the match of the night.

RAW VS SD Main events

Unpredictable. All I can predict is a calvacade of cheers for HHH, Mysterio and Angle and a crescendo of boos for Johnny Boy and Dumb Orton!

Hey guys! Here are your results from Saturday Night's Main Event. The highlight of the night for me was Stone Cold going to town on JBL w/ the beer and giving him a Stunner to finish him off. Enjoy the results!

WWE Champion John Cena & Triple H def. World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio & Randy Orton (Handicap Match)
March 18th, 2006

It was RAW’s WrestleMania main event vs. SmackDown’s WrestleMania main event. It was WWE Champion John Cena & Triple H vs. World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio & Randy Orton. With so much animosity among the teammates of both teams, this was destined to be an explosive situation, and it didn’t disappoint. Would either team be able to coexist with each other? The answer was yes…and no.

Early on in the match, it appeared as though Cena and Triple H were able to get on the same page. Cena was propped up on the second rope, and was vulnerable to a Mysterio 619. But right before Mysterio could connect, The Game saved Cena and pulled him out of the way. But that was where the teamwork ended for the RAW side.

The Cerebral Assassin brutalized Mysterio on the outside, bending the rules to his advantage. Cena didn’t approve of Triple H’s method of attack, such as throwing Mysterio into the barrier. So, when The Game tried to tag in Cena, The Champ refused. So much for coexisting as a team.

Cena did get into the ring eventually, and faced off with Randy Orton. Cena managed to hit the Legend Killer with an FU, but when he went for the pin, Triple H pulled his own teammate off. Not only did Triple H cost himself and Cena a win, but he proceeded to Pedigree The Champ and roll Orton onto him for the pin. Before Orton could score a pin, though, Mysterio pulled him off. The Master of the 619 did not want to win that way. Unhappy that Cena wasn’t pinned yet, Triple H hit Mysterio with a Pedigree as well.

Kurt Angle hit the ring and clotheselined The Game to the outside. Then Orton turned on his teammate and nailed the Wrestling Machine with an RKO. He looked poised to give Cena a dose of the same medicine, but The Champ somehow countered the maneuver into a roll up and scored the improbably victory. Cena picked up the win, but he was also Pedigreed by his partner and WrestleMania challenger, Triple H. A fate he has to avoid in order to be successful at WrestleMania 22.

Shane McMahon def. Shawn Michaels (Street Fight)
March 18th, 2006

For months, Mr. McMahon had made it his top priority to make Shawn Michaels’ life a living hell. The WWE Chairman had been doing anything and everything in his power to embarrass HBK on a weekly basis. From a retirement party, to making the Showstopper join the Kiss My Ass Club, to a public drug test, Mr. McMahon has pulled no punches. In an effort to truly get the best of Michaels, the WWE Chairman will face him one-on-one at WrestleMania 22. But first, HBK had a Street Fight against Mr. McMahon’s son, Shane, at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Shane had been undergoing intense training, and it showed in this brutal Street Fight. HBK attacked Shane-O-Mac before he even got to the ring, but Shane was able to survive the onslaught. Shane worked on HBK’s back, repeatedly slamming him into the ring post. He brought out a couple of tables outside the ring and set up a ladder inside the ring. Mr. McMahon laid the Showstopper down on the table, and Shane climbed the ladder. HBK escaped Mr. McMahon’s clutches and climbed the ladder from the opposite side. He met Shane at the top, and then suplexed him off the ladder to the outside and through the two tables in a breathtaking, death-defying moment.

Paramedics rushed to the ring, but the match went on. HBK went for the flying elbow off the ladder, but Mr. McMahon knocked him off with a kendo stick. Shane went back on the offensive and set up the Showstopper for the Van Terminator. Mr. McMahon was holding the garbage can in front of HBK, but at the last second, Michaels got out of the way as Shane slammed the garbage can into his own father’s face. The Showstopper hit Sweet Chin Music, but before the referee could count to three, Mr. McMahon pulled him out of the ring, saving his son. HBK caught the Chairman and threw him into the ring. Shane recovered, though, and nailed Michaels with a low blow. At the direction of his father, Shawn locked HBK in the Sharpshooter, and Mr. McMahon immediately ordered to ring the bell. Just like he did to Bret “Hit Man” Hart in Montreal in 1997, Mr. McMahon screwed Shawn Michaels at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Booker T vs. Boogeyman (Canceled)
March 18th, 2006

For weeks, Booker T and his wife Sharmell have been haunted by the bizarre Boogeyman. Everywhere Booker and Sharmell turn, the worm-eating Superstar is right behind them. Booker T demanded that General Manager Theodore Long put a stop to Boogeyman, but instead, Long left that up to Booker T and set up a match for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The match, however, never even happened. While in the back receiving medical attention, Booker T explained to Long that he heard something pop in his knee earlier in the day. The only way to see what the real extent of the injury was would be with an MRI. The only problem, though, is that an MRI would take well over a few hours to obtain. So, going along with the doctor’s opinion, Long canceled the match. Booker T limped out of the room, but a smile briefly crept across his face in between yelps of pain.

Later on in the show, Booker T was getting out of the shower, and he and Sharmell were talking about how they had duped Long. Booker was never injured. He just wanted out of the match, and the five-time WCW Champion had gotten his way. Booker T even did a little dance, showing no signs of a knee injury. Then all of a sudden, Boogeyman’s music hit and the worm-eating Superstar lowered himself down from the ceiling. Booker T, only dressed in a towel, and Sharmell, who didn’t have a shirt on yet, screamed out in terror and ran out of the room.

Booker T may have gotten his way, but the satisfaction will only be momentary. Long decided that match will go on – at WrestleMania 22.

Stone Cold Steve Austin def. JBL (Beer Drinking Contest)
March 18th, 2006

Stone Cold hadn’t been seen since last October, but the Texas Rattlesnake made a triumphant return to WWE television on Saturday Night’s Main Event. In a recent interview with WWE.com, Stone Cold talked about the greatest wrestlers to ever come out of Texas. Stone Cold balked at including JBL on the list, and the native Texan (currently residing in New York) took great offense to the omission. In order to get back at Stone Cold, JBL wanted to beat the Texas Rattlesnake at his own game – a Beer Drinking Contest.

Stone Cold’s beer drinking antics in WWE are legendary. So, it was no surprise that the future Hall of Famer accepted JBL’s challenge. Stone Cold said that he was worried that JBL would give him a run for his money, so he decided to practice for the contest. He said that for breakfast he had 24 beers and then for lunch he had 15 pitchers of beer. JBL and Stone Cold had 25 beers each already set up on a table. JBL said he didn’t want to get tipsy, so they would drink for one minute and whoever drank the most beer would be declared the winner. In old, Texas fashion, JBL said that they would stand back to back and drink. The Texas Rattlesnake started throwing a couple back, but JBL started throwing the beer onto himself, pretending to drink. Stone Cold knew something was up so he walked around to JBL and caught him in the act.

An irate JBL tossed a beer at Stone Cold and left the ring, but before he could get very far, United States Champion, and JBL’s opponent at WrestleMania, Chris Benoit came out and threw JBL back into the ring. Stone Cold then drenched the self-proclaimed Wrestling God, and capped off his night with a classic Stone Cold Stunner.

Women's Champion Trish Stratus & Mickie James def. Candice & Victoria
March 18th, 2006

Women’s Champion Trish Stratus was originally supposed to team up with Torrie Wilson in this tag team match, but last week on RAW, Wilson was found laid out unconscious with an autographed copy of Candice’s Playboy on her stomach. It appeared as though Candice and Victoria had attacked her, so Trish needed a partner. The Women’s Champion had previously told Mickie James that she needed some space from the excitable Diva. Mickie had gotten too overbearing and borderline psychotic when it came to her idol Trish Stratus. She was obsessed and Trish had enough. But she had no choice but to team up with her at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Trish started off the match, and never even tagged in Mickie. Stratus was able to hit Victoria with the Stratusfaction for the win. After the match, Mickie told Trish that she knew she wanted some space, and she would give it to her. But, first, she wanted to say goodbye the right way. With that, Mickie went in for a kiss. Trish turned her face, causing Mickie to plant a big kiss on her cheek. Mickie then gave Trish a big hug and began jumping up and down. Trish pushed her off, but she paid for it, as Mickie hit her with the Mick Kick and her own version of Stratusfaction. Later on WWE.com Unlimited, Mickie James said that Trish had broken her heart, and now she was going to break Trish.

Wrestlemania is coming up in two weeks. So Saturday Nights main event was a great chance to deliver.....

And they didn't.

Instead WWE decided to suck the fucking soul out of the WWE fan by teasing great matches with atrocious finishes and booking and then cancelling a sucky match, only for it to be rescheduled for WRESTLEMANIA!

So yes, the streetfight may have been fun but again it all had to be about Vince, instead of his far less annoying and far more talented son and HBK is buried again. Cunt!

How is this PPV going to get people excited for WM? WWE = WANKERS!

OH AND..you forgot..them still living in the Montreal past. Why am I not surprized anymore?? Plus Im really starting to hate this HBK/Vince storyline, if Vince wins at Wrestlemania, I will THROW UP!!

The StreetFight was good, esp the Shawn Superplex off the Ladder onto the tables. That was cool!! Edge getting a Con-chair-to! The JBL/Stone Cold stuff was AWESOME! of course thats what Austin is all about and the Mickie Heel Turn was perfect, it happened at a perfect time. Everything else was just bad!
