Hey guys! Coming to you LIVE on PPV Sunday, January 29th from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida... WWE ROYAL RUMBLE! 2 matches have been set for the card so far, a WWE Championship rematch between Edge and John Cena and the 30-Man 2006 Royal Rumble Match. As well, Mr. PPV, Rob Van Dam will be making his highly anticipated return to the ring after being out of action for a year. Here's a preview of the show so far, enjoy!

The 2006 Royal Rumble Match
January 29th, 2006

Thirty men. Every man for himself. And an opportunity at the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Put all of that together and you have yourself one of the most intense, unpredictable, exciting matches of the year. It’s the Royal Rumble, and it’s coming to you Sunday, Jan. 29.

Last year Batista and John Cena went into sudden death in the Royal Rumble with Batista ultimately winning and defeating Triple H at WrestleMania 21 for the World Heavyweight Championship. The year before that Chris Benoit finally won the big one and went on to WrestleMania XX and achieved his life-long dream of becoming World Champion. Will the Rumble prove to be the starting point for someone else’s march to the title at WrestleMania?

SmackDown’s Lashley has already said that he is on a mission to go to the Royal Rumble and make an impact. The soft-spoken, hard-hitting Lashley is undefeated and will surely be a force to be reckoned with.

On the RAW side, it was announced that Rob Van Dam would be making his big return to the squared circle at the Royal Rumble Match as well. Van Dam has been out since last Jan. 13 when he suffered a major knee injury. Will Van Dam be heeled enough to make a strong showing? The Big Red Monster Kane, Chavo Guerrero and Shelton Benjamin also all won Royal Rumble Qualifying Matches. Kane said that Snitsky was just his first victim. He said there will be 29 more victims and he will leave a path of destruction on his way to WrestleMania 22.

WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena
January 29th, 2006

Edge shocked the world when he cashed in his Money in the Bank title shot at New Year’s Revolution. John Cena was already bloodied and battered. He had just barely survived the brutal Elimination Chamber, outlasting five other Superstars in the process. Edge realized it was the perfect time. The Champ was at his most vulnerable, and Edge smelled it like a shark smells blood in the water.

Cena could barely get to his feet, but as soon as he did, Edge pounced with a devastating spear. Cena was still somehow able to kick out, but he was just prolonging the inevitable. Edge was just licking his chops, waiting for Cena to get up, and as soon as he did he hit him with another vicious spear. This time the 1-2-3 was academic. Just moments after Edge’s huge win, he told Todd Grisham that he and Lita would celebrate the win by having hot, torrid sex live on RAW the following night.

Before the live sex session, though, John Cena said that he was invoking his rematch clause. Lita answered Cena’s challenge and said that after some “oral persuasion” she had convinced Mr. McMahon that the rematch shouldn’t be until the Royal Rumble. Later that evening Mr. McMahon caught up with Cena as well. He told the former WWE Champion that if he made his presence felt during the live sex session, then he would lose his right to a rematch at the Royal Rumble.

It looked as though Cena would live up to his word that he wouldn’t interfere. In fact, it was Ric Flair who interrupted the steamy sex session. Edge was able to fend off Flair, though, and nailed him with a Con-Chair-To on the announce table. Before Edge could do any more damage, Cena came out through the crowd and ran Edge off. Edge refused to get back into the ring, leaving Lita alone with Cena. Cena hoisted her up and delivered an FU as the WWE Champion looked on.

Did John Cena inadvertently lose his shot at regaining the WWE Championship?

To bad Dave wont be in the Rumble.

Other than that, I love the Royal Rumble match its self. Its always great to see who wins, esp with ALL of the wrestlers in there at once.

It has been many years since the last Rumble winner DID NOT win the gold at WrestleMania

I'm looking forward to it. The rest of the PPV card is usually weak, I hope it will be different this year.

At least Chavo is in the Rumble. Thats cool { as Carlito would say } and RVD!!!!! OMG Ive missed him! I hope that Shawn will be in there as well.

The Rumble is a great PPV, the Rumble Match itself is very exciting to watch. It's awesome that RVD is returning to the ring, he always puts on a great, entertaining match. I hope this year's Rumble doesn't disappoint, it hasn't in any of the years I've watched it.

The Royal Rumble match is never bad.

My personal prediction WAS Randy Orton. But now I don't know what to think considering who the new World Heavyweight Champion is.

What I especially like this year, is that it's not clear yet at all who will/might win it. There are still several posiblities. And with the lastest World Title situation, it just gets better.

I've gone to a Raw taping before(Trish is gorgeous

) and 2 WCW shows... but FINALLY, I'm getting to go to a PPV

This one!

I plan on bringing things to autograph and hopefully a camera now that I remember it.

You lucky son of a bitch!

I know firsthand how gorgeous Trish is in person. I went to a house show in March 2004, front row. Trish was heel and managing Christian. She stood directly in front of me the whole match. I wish I had a picture of that somewhere.

Thats awesome, I wanna go to a PPV sometime. Ive been to 2 Raw shows and didnt sit close but it was great seats where I was anyway, have a fantastic time! Ahh I know you will!
