Knowing WWE, chances are about 70% that Cena regains at the Rumble or WM.


It's nice to see Edge with the title, it's something different. But cena lives for the title and is far more determined. I rank him in the same category as Angle & JBL.

Cena is a fighting champ. Edge barely had any decent matches the last couple of months. We'll see how this turns out.



Either way, I don't see Edge holding the title for longer than 3 months.

I think Edge will defend a little more than people think. He didn't wrestle over the past few months because he had an injury that kept him out of the ring. Now he's healthy and ready to carry the company.

You can't downplay Edge's desire to be the champion. Adam Copeland has been a wrestling fan his whole life and I believe it's his biggest passion. This probably means the world to him and he's going to want to keep that title for as long as possible.

I think he might go into WrestleMania as the champ and defend the title. Since he'll probably be heel still, he could win his match and retain, as long as the match isn't the main event.

Survivor Series 05: A Smackdown referee counts Angle's shoulders to the mat.

Elimination Chamber 05: Wins after a school boy on Carlito after Angle, Michaels and Kane had all gone.

It's clear you 'hate' Cena and are very happy he lost the title. No need to prove it.
He'll regain the gold though, sooner or later. He's a main eventer and he's young.
I don't think he could have held it for about 9 months without deserving it. And RAW has/had enough other wrestlers worthy of a title run (at least in my opinion): Angle, HBK, Edge, Kane, Big Show, HHH.
Cena was barely 2 years in the WWE. By the end of this third year he was already one of the longest WWE champs in history.

I'm looking forward what kind of 'fighting' champ Edge will be. I'm already hoping he will not chicken out of his first title defence at the Rumble. An injury is NO excuse. If he was injured before NYR (and he was) and now still is, then it was not the right time to give him the gold.

Anyways, I was not talking about the outcome of the matches, I was simply saying that he defended his title. Every PPV and on regular base on RAW.


Compare it to Batista's title defences since WrestleMania and he will fall short.
