No matter what they do, they can't get to his level, cause he's the Genetic Freak.
So this goes to all his freaks out there, Big Poppa Pump is your hook-up. HOLLER, if ya hear me! |

It is a show that requires the people to be tough and have a crazy personality so that they can sell more T-shirts and lunch boxes to the sorry little kids that look up to people beating eachother up as role models. | * sigh* I know I told myself I was gonna stay away from posting until school is over. But I still like to check in and read threads every now and then and what I'm reading from you is just too ridiculous to ignore. So I'll just make it short and sweet.
1) Kurt Angle was in the Olympics. He won two gold medals. He's been the WWF Champion and held just about every other title you can think of in the WWF, including King of the Ring.
2) Watch a Rob Van Damn match, a Rock match, a Kurt Angle match, a Lita match... then come back and tell me they aren't athletic.
I don't want to ramble. So I'll stop here. Thank you. |

| WWF superstars "the pain is always there, the FEAR is always there. This is what I do. This is fake, we're not athletes, this is easy?? TRY LACING MY BOOTS!"
It isn't supposed to be "real". If it was every week all the wreslters would have black and blue marks, black eyes, and numerous other marks all over their body. It is their job to make it look real. They really are slammed on the mat, they really do hit the floor from off the top of a steel cage. What are they holograms? HELL NO. They tell a story and provide entertainment. Why do you want tv shows? soap operas? plays? It entertains you and you enjoy it. I love the WWF. Its real blood sweat and tears. I dare you to go through a Tough Enough try out. you wouldn't last a day. Do you know the kind of shape they have to be in? Some people just don't get it. |

I'm just saying I wouldn't call them athletes...becuase like you said....it isn't supposed to be real and it is entertainment. Britney Spears probably gets a HUGE workout at her concerts...but I don't call her an athlete because of that. There is a seperation between entertainment and athleticism.

i know Britney has to keep fit to live with her schedule, but these wrestlers work around 360 days a year, now that requires fitness and yes, athletisism goes along with their job. Britney may not be classed as an athlete, but she is athletic.
in wrestling u HAVE to be athletic to land correctly and to perform the moves in the proper way......FACT!!! |
