Source: Fan Reports -- I’ve now read two fan reports from a British and an American fan, each saying the same thing, that Bret Hart is in NY and staying in a hotel there. -- Of course, this is by no means confirmed and publicly the WWE (and Bret) are still saying nothing has been reached between the two parties, BUT, at the same time reliable sources report that Paul Bearer will be at the event and yet WWE and Mr. Bearer also are refuting those claims. -- A call to said hotel has revealed that Bret is “not there” (at least under that name), but that of course is probably to be the expected response to a member of the public. -- Unlike in other posts, I am not going to speculate upon what he may be doing if he is in NY, as its pretty clear, but I stress once again that this information comes to me from two unproven sources and is not in any way shape or form confirmed. I will do some more digging into this throughout today and tomorrow, and one of our dedicated team of writers will have an update for you as soon as possible. *in other words*.... BRET HART to be part of Wrestlemania 20!!

Well, I'm trying to get back in the swing of things, since tomorrow I go see the main event of main events. Here are some predictions:

Benoit has a fairly good chance of winning the title at WMXX. If you look into the future, the storyline permits. If not, he will more than likely have gold around his waste by the end of next month. The next PPV is Backlash which is in Edmonton; Benoit's hometown. So my prediction is that he either goes into or comes out of Backlash with gold. Personally, I'd prefer to see Benoit go in with the gold, and leave without, just because it'd piss off his hometown, and thats what I want to see. (Calgary and Edmonton are sort of rivals, hehe) Taker's going to break his winning streak at this year's Wrestlemania. I don't know why, it's just a hunch, I guess.

Personally, I hope Edge comes to Raw... I'm going to see Raw live next month, and last summer when I saw the house show, Edge said that he was going to have the Gold around his waste and he'd celebrate by taking the fans out for a drink. And I want him to live up to his promise. Edge is my favourite wrestler, and I'd like to see gold around his waste when he buys me a beer.

OK. Here's my predictions for the night ahead.

Predictions

WWE Tag Titles: Worlds Greatest Tag Team. I feel that they will pin the APA and start up a feud with them, culminating in a match at Backlash.

World Tag Titles: La Resistance: Sneaky dealing will be the order of the day here and RVD and Booker will come up short.

US Title: John Cena. He's done two years of title shots and fights against the big names. It's about time!

Women's Title: Victoria. The womens title almost never changes at WM and with Molly's hair on the line, there's no way she's comming out of the garden without a "reasonable haircut"

Y2J VS Christian: Christian's gonna win this one. Probably because of Trish. She'll either screw Jericho (No not that way you f*cking perverts!) or get involved and cost Y2J accidentally.

Playboy Evening Gown match: Torrie & Sable. Usually the more attractive duo lose in a match like this. DUH!

Rock N' Sock VS Evoloution: Evoloution. Evoloution's gonna win it but I can see Rock and Foley standing tall at the end. A tough match in prospect.

Cruiserweight Open: Rey Mysterio. And I think it's gonna be controversial. Hardcore Battle Royal WM 16 style.

Undertaker VS Kane: No Contest. Something major evil is gonna happen here and it's gonna cost Taker the winning streak.

WWE Championship: Kurt Angle. Angles wrestlemania record kinda sucks (just like him) but this is the place to break it.

Lesnar VS Goldberg: Lesnar. Some kind of screw job is being set to screw Austin and Goldberg. It's gonna result in a victory for Lesnar. And a feud between Austin and Lesnar.

Shawn VS Benoit VS HHH: (Please God) Shawn Michaels. Time for him to regain his title after being screwed out of it time and time again. PS: This will be a f*cking classic.

Was I the only one who hated just about everything?

I was looking foward to one thing, and that was The Undertaker. I haven't watched wrestling in a LONG time, and I watched this one because it's "the big event," and I was really dissapointed.

Without even reading spoilers I knew half the shit that was gonna happen, like Trish turning heel. She hasn't been a heel since she started out in the WWE, and it was obviously time for a change.

One thing I had heard about was Brock leaving the WWE from some dumbass at work, so that match was rather obvious too. However, the part where stone cold got nailed in the face with his own beer can was great

The Undertaker just... the build up was great, but for some reason he came out and it killed it. I don't know if a better entrance would have helped or what, like coming down from the top of the arena or something, but Right when I saw him I was just like wow this sucks! Once he got in the ring it was like watching the same undertaker anyways, maybe it's the look or maybe it's the fact that wrestling is so different now. You have someone "rising from the dead" on the same night you have a Playboy Evening Gown Match.

The end was good, the match was great but I was convinced Bret was gonna come out, I just had this feeling HBK would have the match won and Bret would screw him out of the title and give Chris the win, but nothing happened! Another problem I have is the fact that I don't see Chris as a Main Event wrestler. I know he's amazing but I guess since I haven't watched in a while it was like what the hell is he doing in this match, and then wow when he won! No one could have won though to make me happy, HHH is a title whore, HBK is done, he use to be my favorite wrestler and still is, of all time, but now it's over and I'm sorry but it's not the same.

That's about it, plus the fact that I was shocked that they have kept some of my least favorite teams together this long. (APA Dudley Boyz, and Rikishi/Scotty)

Ohh well, guess it's not the same or i've grown out of it...
