|  Wrestlemania x8 the game. | |
MODS: I wasn't sure if this belongs in General Discussion or Sports Entertainment, but since I've seen other game threads in GD, I decided to put this here.
ANYWAYS:
My sister's boyfriend bought the game two days ago, and I started playing it, and to be quite honest, I don't really like the game. I mean, its great graphically, but gameplay doesn't even compare to SmackDown 3! for PS2.
For example in WMx8 after you're knocked out of a Royal Rumble, you're out for good. Whereas, in SD3 if you're knocked out, you can choose another character that is already in the ring, and take control of it.
in WMx8 you can't go backstage. What a rip off. And the new SmackDown set doesn't look that great.
Also, the game is far more out of date than SD3 was. the game came out only about 3 weeks after the new SmackDown set was first brought in, and it was already included in the game. The new Raw set isn't anywhere in WMx8. |

Swany i think ya should have posted in the Sports forum! i cannot move it though, cause i am not a super-mod (or whatever it is called) i am shocked that the game is not good! the previews looked awsome but i will wait 4 SD4!!! | |

Well, I still know lotsa people who hate wrestling that love the games, so I think they should read too. But whatever. Maybe, if theres enough demand, Kostaki will make a Video Games forum, and that will be better. But until then, whatever. | |

Yeah John i think there are almost all of them (from a few months back that is!) it looked really good from the videos but i guess not! I cannot wait for SD4 Shut your mouth! The graphics look 100x better! U can get the trailer offf Kazaa! | |

the new RAW set isn't in it because the roster split heppened after wrestlemania, and the game is based on the storyline at the time of wrestlemania. And I believe there are 46 + 6 hidden wrestlers. Its not that bad of a a game, but its no, no mercy | |

I still prefer SmackDown 3 to it, and I know why the set isn't in there, but I was expecting to be able to unlock it some how. | |
