Damn them indeed! Sheffield United put up a good fight though and I was hoping they would get that all important goal right at the end of normal time. The Sheffield keeper put up a very good display as well.

Lets hope for a good away win tonight, if we can get an early away goal then Blackburn might crumble.

Does sound like an Irish name to me you should probably check it out sometime.

Even though Liverpool won they still aren't up to their best form, many shots were missed with poor finishing and in the second half they were misplacing loads of passes and giving away needless free-kicks.

I don't mind watching them when they lose a match or draw, but in general I don't mind them.

I'm glad that Liverpool won coz this MAY help out Notts Forest coz Sheff Utd may have some bad results in the next few weeks giving other teams to catch up in the 1st Div. Portsmout, Leicester and Sheff Utd are all due bad spells coz every team has a bad spell in a season.

Any way I though that it was a good match and Liverpool just deserved to go through coz Sheff Utd didn't test the keeper enough and Liverpool had chances and tested the keeper, Paddy Kenny, who put in a fine display.

I can't believe it when Paddy Kenny as at Bury he played against Wycombe and was shocking but now he is really good.

Well according to Paddy Kennys fact file on the Sheff United Website he was born in Halifax so no he wasn't born in Ireland but he probably has Irish parents or something, coz it just sounds like an Irish name.
