With Portugal the referee certainly wasn't on their side.

A crap ref in a Portugal match is the difference between stealing cheap victories and national embarasment.

Mexico and Trinidad & Tobago won their next matches too, so both look very safe in that group. Can't see USA not making it through .. can't decide who will join them as both Jamacia and Panama have the same matches left! I'd say Canada are pretty much out. The rest of the teams in their group look like they'll have an interesting scrap for the Top 2 places though.

Poor Clinton Morrison, out for a month, I hope Connolly plays against the Faroes. Roy Keane should be fit also.

Results so far..

Group 1
Andorra 1-0 Macedonia
Armenia 0-3 Czech Republic *kicks the Czechs for not scoring one more*

One more win will put the Czechs on level terms with Finland and Romania.. but what are Andorra doing winning!?

Group 2
Kazakhstan 0-1 Albania

No surprise. Ukraine lead Georgia 1-0 at half-time.

Group 3
Latvia 2-2 Estonia

Group 5
Norway 1-0 Slovenia - after 7 minutes

Heh, Azerbaijan isn't an easy place to go anymore. Wales only managed a 1-1 draw there, even though they're a class below England. I was listening to the second-half and it didn't seem as though Azerbaijan had a lot of chances. We created a few, but they defended very well. Shame it wasn't 2-0 and a bit more comfortable. Poland have a much better GD atm, but as long as Wales can hold them to a draw, or better yet beat them, I'm happy.

Group 2
Denmark 1-1 Turkey
Ukraine 2-0 Georgia

Group 3
Luxemborug 0-4 Liechtenstein

A draw on the weekend and now a win for Liechtenstein! They're currently level on points with Latvia and Russia.

Group 5
Moldova 1-1 Scotland
Norway 3-0 Slovenia

Great win for Norway, but not good again from Scotland..

Group 7
Serbia & M 5-0 San Marino
