A good illustration of just how crazy the referee was in his behavour towards the heat/water situation yesterday:

Wooooooooooooooooohoooooooooo nice winning for the Dutchies Winning the first game is the first step in getting to the next round. I thought the S&M players where kinda looking for the counter in the first half. Seemed like they wheren't too sad when they lost the ball to the Dutchies and didn't do much to get it back. Second half was pretty different, as the S&M players tried to keep the ball a little more.
Robbens goal was great! Van Persie gave it at the right time and luckely Robben didn't fell because a player from S&M pulled his shirt. Nice match overal, and can't do anything more than saying the hottest player of the game was Arjen Robben

Awwwww how cute!

Winning the first match in such a tough group was so important for Holland.
S&M sounds knky!!

Mexico 3-1 Iran
Ok, so I gave in and decided to watch the second-half! .. after listening to the first and deciding that it wasn't a bad match.

Mexico were the better team overall. Iran had more of the match in the first-half, and converted one of their chances into an equaliser after Bravo (Bravo!! ) had given Mexico the lead. Mexico dominated the second-half, with Iran creating little in the way of an attacking move. However, it seemed as though Iran would be strong enough to hold out for a point, until a sloppy clearence from Iran's keeper set-up a chance for Bravo to put Mexico ahead. Spurred on by this, Mexico made it 3-1 several minutes later with a lovely header from Zinha. By then the Mexican coach looked a lot happier!!

I won't be watching Angola - Portugal.. but because I'm being kicked off the TV downstairs, and the TV in my room only picks up an arctic blizzard.

I managed to watch half an hour before getting kicked off! Angola are surprising me with the way they've come so strongly back into the match, and after Portugal scored so early on. I still expect to see a Portuguese second goal though.

*hops through the computer screen to watch it with you*
