I can picture it now.

Ronaldo goes off the field bawling his eyes out after a 34-0 thrashing by France.

Yes. That's what I better see happen dammit.

Booyah!

France - Italy final! There's a quality match for ya.

When Henry went down in the box I thought for sure he dove from one angle, but from another it was clear the defenders got him. Good call. Senior Larrionda saw right through Portugal's acting as well. 2 yellow cards in the whole match, though I'm surprised Portugal didn't get more with the amount of diving they did. Good match in terms of refereeing.

Germany played well in an attacking sense as well, but they hardly found their way around the Italian defensive wall during the first 90 minutes, only in extra-time did they really create some very clear cut chances, but Poldoldski couldn't deliver.

I thought the Italians deserved it. The goals were fantastic!! .. even if we did have to wait 119 minutes to see them.

Did you get my text last night?
I TOTALLY agree with you. I was almost dying at the end though, and the amount of excitement in my town.. INSANE!! I read there were 20,000 people on the street, that's just about everyone IN my town, lol. It was great.

But now I am scared, Italy vs France.. don't remind me of 1998 and 2000. Ack.

No, I didn't get your text! But my cellphone (Italian one) is terrible... if you replace the first digits 00393200 with 00436503 and then continue on with my old number, you've got my Austrian one. (Wasn't that a fancy way of telling you my phone number without letting the whole internet world know? ) I'll hopefully be able to get your texts there, but then again, probably only when I am BACK in Vienna. However, thanks for the text, that is so sweet. What did it say exactly?!

With an average age of over 30, France are their old self.
