Very, very gritty match. Lots of hard tackles and the referee was exceptionally fussy. The young goalie lad who came on for the Paraguese was pretty damn good.

WOW! I am so upset that I couldn't watch the whole match!! But look how haaaaappy those (few!!) fans and the team were! My prediction was waaay off (I am assuming everyone else's was as well ) but wow.. I'm really happy for Trinidad & Tobago!!!

Fantastic match! Maybe there weren't any goals, but Trinidad showed they could compete with the big boys of Football. It was sad to see John go off so early on in the second-half, but both of his challenges deserved a yellow-card. To be honest I expected Trinidad to go down by a few goals after that, but they hugh on brilliantly and could have even won it if Glen's shot had bounced off the underside of the crossbar. Shaka Hislop was the biggest hero for T&T .. and to think, he wasn't even due to start this match until their first choice got an injury after the warm-up!

I like Sweden, so its a bit sad to see them lose, but now I like T&T even more! Great result for England as well. We certainly won't underestimate T&T on Thursday.

One question does remain though.. How on earth did Costa Rica qualify above T&T!? Costa Rica looked like lost sheep yesterday, but T&T certainly looked like they belonged out there today.

WOW!! I am so proud of the Ivory Coast!! They so far, they've played really well. The 2-0 doesn't really mirror the match, in my opinion. I thought the first goal was really nice, though. I really hope that the Ivory Coast scores at least one goal, they would deserve that.
