Access to a computer! Yay.

So I saw the first 12 minutes of the Italy - Australia game and then had to leave, and then when I came back in the 78th minute it was still 0-0 and I reaaally thought they were going to lose.

I was so tense. I was in this cafe with about 60 other people from my region and we were all just disappointed with how our players were playing. And of course that was NOT a foul which should have resulted in a penalty kick, but hey we are Italians. *sighs* We don't know what "correct" and "fair" means. In the end it was the ref's call, and I think he just wasn't in the mood to run for another 30 min.

Of course I wish the win would really be deserved, but nonetheless I am so happy that we advanced!

A bit too old, past it, burnt-out, not good enough for the national side .. RVN on the other hand would have scored an equaliser the other night. There were 3 chances I know he would have been on the end of, especially Van Persie's cross across the front of goal in the second-half. A perfect opportunity for a player like RVN.
