England were passing the ball around well - thats pretty much as clear as day. We weren't passing like Argentina, but we did the job that was needed. They had great interplay on many occassions, but what was lacking was the final ball. Defensively they weren't really troubled, so its pretty hard to judge just how good they are from that match. On the occassions when Ecuador did attack they forced 2 (maybe 3) saves out of Robinson, and were blocked out or had the ball cleared by a defender most of the rest of the time, so I don't see where all over the place is realistically coming from.
We almost beat Portugal 2 years ago. Both teams have improved since then, so if both perform to their capabilities we'll have a fine and close match on Saturday afternoon. Quote: |

The two other previous times were in 1986 and 2002, where they were knocked out at the group stages on both occassions.
1966 was a fantastic year for Football. |

| This quote made me laugh so hard. From the BBC Quote: |
16 mins: Italy are playing plenty of long balls at the moment. Very un-Italian. Perhaps they've been watching videos of England?

Holland should have scored, instead of that they were crying and falling. Ricardo is a fucking showoff, a serious attention faggot. Sorry, but he is. | This wasn't the first time the referee failt. France -Switzerland was also under his lead and I believe there where given 9 cards there (i think so).
I agree that you should play good football in the WC and Holland could have been a lot better, but that doesn't take away that with every duel between two players, mr yellow card loved to stop the game and take out his favourite card again. Yes, some where deserved, but some wheren't. Just the whole theater the Portugese made.. that's what I don't see as footbal. They played a game that's not called football, that game is called 'let's pretend i'm hurt so the other player gets a card'. And with a referee like Ivanov, that wasn't hard to do. If you wanna win a footbal game, win it on skills, not on who's better in acting. Cuz if they love to do that so much, you might have to concider if you choose the right job.
And I don't think Holland was 'crying and falling' during the game, the Portugese where all over the ground. And again, Figo is a good example for that. |

| Why am I not suprised over your comments?
Maybe you should make some more mature comments on the game, insted of acting like a mad 6 year old. |
