You have a good point there Emma. I was watching the match with my family, 'cause it was my grandmother's birthday, and they said Ivanov made himself look stupid when he gave Bouhlarouz yellow, 'cause they found Cristiano Ronaldo act like 'a baby'. I'm quoting my family here.

When I saw the re-run though, I agree that the colour red could have been given. We were lucky there.

lol. When I saw the bruising, I thought that was really bad. But hopefully he will be okay for the game against England.

I felt sorry for him when he had to be substituted. It seems he's a very emotional player. When he doesn't get past a defender after two or three times trying he starts to look sad. And yesterday he started to cry ... It does show he lives for the sport, but then again, we knew that by looking at all the things he can do with a ball.

Today Australia & Hiddink against Italy. Obviously whole Holland is 100% for Australia now, but I doubt if they have a chance.

Fingers crossed!

I think its because this World Cup means so much for him, I think he wants to make his father proud. You could see when he scored his penalty previously, he looked up to the sky. It was really touching.

Two wishes for today:

That Italy wins.
If they don't, PLEASE lose during regular playing time and even then, not in the 89th minute, like they love to.

That is all.

I disagree. I believe i would've done the same. I mean come on, if your team has made it to the world cup, then show some good football, not bitchslapping.
Holland should have scored, instead of that they were crying and falling. Ricardo is a fucking showoff, a serious attention faggot. Sorry, but he is.

Portugal make a meal of things again.. how surprising! A team with those kinds of tactics doesn't deserve to be playing in a World Cup Quarter-Final .. they didn't even bother playing Football for the last 20 minutes, just play-acted to waste time.

The referee.. he had it tough in a match like that. I would expect his linesman and 4th official should have been able to spot more opf the Portuguese antics though (especially Figo's head-butting display), and he should have sent-off Boulahrouz for his tackle of Ronaldo. Bit of an iffy day for the ref.

Ronaldo should be available for Portugal on Saturday, which is alright. I'd rather England beat a full strength Portuguese side than a weakened one.

On a good Footballing note, Maniche's goal was well taken and a great piece of skill, pity we didn't see much more good Football from either side.

..and why wasn't the goal machine RVN brought on!?
