I think that was the best England performance of the tournament so far. The formation worked well against Ecuador. Although it didn't give us exciting Football, England were able to pass the ball around very well, but lacked a quality final ball for most of the match. If we'd have had that, Ecuador would have lost by a few more. Defensively we weren't 100%, but Ecuador didn't really turn up in an attacking sense to give us any serious problems. Against either Portugal or Holland we need to improve the quality of our Final ball, which is definietly not beyind a team of talented players.

In all my life, even by the standards of a Portugal match and even by the standards of Porto's pet rerefee Valentin Ivanov, I have never witnessed a display so unspeakably terrible in all my life.

Ivanov hadn't a clue how to deal with the bastards who disgraced another tournament with their diving and sneaky dealing.

I hate to say it but if you think that performance was the best, I find you a little disillusioned. The formation didnt work. They couldnt pass, defensively a mess. Portugal arent out of it yet. They still have quality. I heard about the interview on BBC and thought that was a joke lmao.

This game was so hilarious I ended up laughing. The referee... pff don't even know what to say except that he obviously loves yellow cards.
Figo is just a really sad person. He just dove to the ground knowing the referee is in love with yellow. It's just a sick man.

Holland had good chances and should have made a goal. They didn't so that is partly their fault. But the referee made just a big mess of the whole game.

What I found stupid was, there was a talented proven international goalscorer on the pitch and what does Van Basten do.. leave him there. Stupid Stupid man. He should have put him on when Deco was sent off.
