Argentina 2-1 Mexico (aet)
Wonder goal from Rodriguez to seal Argentina's place in the Quarter-Finals!

I thought it was a very entertaining match overall. Mexico played their best Football of the World Cup by far and had chances to win the match in normal time, just like Argentina.
Mexico took the lead after 6 minutes, with Marquez getting the goal after Heinze could only flick on a free-kick into his path. Borgetti leveled the scores 4 minutes later by heading the ball into his own net. Argentina should have won the match in the 90th+2 minute when Riquelme played the ball to Aimar in the area, who then squared it for Messi to tap in, but the linesman flagged for offside.

Quite clearly, it wasn't. Not to worry for Argentina though, as Rodriguez was on hand to score what could be the goal of the tournament from the edge of the area - the keeper had no chance! Argentina began to confidently knock the ball around as the clock ran down. Mexico weren't without chances, but they couldn't create anything decisive. Average in the group stages, but they came to life tonight, unfortunately for them they were up against a team full of amazing talent.
Germany had better watch out next Friday.
