I was just wondering if any of you have watched any of the women's world cup soccer matches. The tournament is being hosted in the USA so it surprises me that there hasn't been a post about it since we're already in the semi-final stage of the tournament.

The biggest surprise of the WorldCup this year is Canada's upset win over China. Canada #12 ranked in the world defeated the #4 ranked and 2nd place finishers at the 1999 WorldCup.

GO CANADA GO!!!! Hopefully we will beat Sweden.

I have a feeling it's going to be a USA vs. Canada final with the USA winning.

my roommate's sister is on the team. its pretty cool... i bug him all the time aboot his parents loving his little sister more than him because she's in the world cup, and he's done nothing...

that was a huge win over china, if they keep improving they could beat sweden....

should be a good semi-final

I have seen some of the results but in the UK it really isn't shown that much on TV I don't think.

I think Eurosport show it but I dont have that station, Its getting very little coverage I think.

i just hear some results. saw a couple seconds of the QF where brazil where denied a last gasp penalty.
