It took a while to get the 1st QF finished, but top seed Roger Federer can take a rest now. He defeated Ancic with 3 times 6-4.

Bjorkman 7-6, 4-6, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 Stepanek

Today Nieminen - Nadal will be played and all the Women's Semi-Finals!

oh bythe way I heard an interview with Maria about that streaker. It was funny lol.

I thought Lleyton would win, but well done to Baghdatis! The title is safe with Federer I think now

I haven't heard that interview. If it's been put on the internet, do you happen to have a link?

Federer's SF is on paper an easy one. In yesterday's match against Ancic, Federer lost his service, only for the 2nd time this tournament!

Men's Quarter Final
Nadal 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 Nieminen

Women's Semi-Finals
Henin 6-4, 7-6 Clijsters
Mauresmo 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 Sharapova

What a fantastic and awesome last Semi-Final I have just seen. Mauresmo was in total control of the match until the 2nd set. She was 3-1 up and 0-40 on Sharapova's serve, but it seems she, again, wasn't 100% mentally focussed. Sharapova fought back, the way only she can do and forced the French into a 3rd set. Two early breakes made the Russian's mission impossible, even though she kept fighting and broke Mauresmo one time back. A fantastic last SF!

Clijsters didn't stand much of a chance again Justine Henin-Hardenne. I think the problem of both Clijsters & Sharapova is that they are not well enough when it comes to volley-play. Henin and Mauresmo are good when they come to the net and score points. And Henin has her weapon, that amazing backhand ...

Women's Final
Mauresmo (1) - Henin (3)
