So folks, with this whole Austin / Brock Lesnar thing starting to heat up, who's expecting a comeback to the ring from the Texas Rattlesnake?

i sure hope so. You can see Austin starting to gain his old figure back and with Lesnar taunting him by the week, something's gonna kick off!

well when he did leave the company a few years ago he was supposed to have a run vs. brock. and he did comment he had a few matches left in him. but i'm not sure, time will tell though

I made a thread awhile ago about Austin facing Goldberg in a Retirement Match but I doubt thats gonna happen because Goldberg is expected to leave after WM

I like him and dont want him to go but oh well. As for Austin I would LOVE to see him in the ring again!

I wish he would, but in a certain way I hope he won't. His spine and neck condition doesn't allow him anymore to return to full action in the ring. We all know it ...

I love him in his current role though. He still kicks ass both on the mic and with Stunners without having to go through physical matches.

Well he seems to be working towards his old figure again. Besides he's on a list of superstars who've been told they "can never wrestle again" Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels etc...

The way I've got it figured is there ain't no way WWE fans are (in the long-term) gonna stand and watch Steve Austin get ripped by BL every week for him to just referee matches and drop the odd stunner now and then.

With Vinnie Mac complaining month in, month out that he aint impressed with how the ratings are going at the minute, to create this storyline, then not to bother having Austin kick the unholy shit out of Brock Lesnar aint gonna do him no favours.
