Jerod, it all has to do with the changing of the company name. Go down the page a little and read the thread about the change from WWF to WWE. That's why they had to change the logo.

The world Wildlife fund (or WWF) sued the good WWF over copyright infrengment. Both companies had an agreement over the original WWF logo, but when the WWF changed to there newer logo (the scribbly one) it pissed the WWf off. Plus the WWF didn't like the WWF having a strong web preasnce, so the WWF made them drop wwf.com. So now the WWF is WWE, and the WWF gets WWF.com. Honestly I hate the WWF and am pissed off about the WWF being bastards.

It really makes no difference to me. I've already gotten used to it. And they are coming out with a new logo in like five months anyways!

Yeah.. they launched a little campaign called "Get the 'F' Out" and made some fake news story about how "F" is upset about being fired.
