Man United didn't get out on the pitch against the Japanese side last night. The match before hand between PSV and Boca Juniors was abandonded after 77 minutes due to heavy rain .. and so the second match couldn't even be started.

As a result, Boca Juniors won the cup thanks to the 5 goals they scored in the first game.

I heard from Suzy that the weather in that area had been horrendus throughout the day, although I wouldn't have expected the rain to be so bad that the match had to be called off! It's a shame for the fans. United have offered an all expenses paid trip to Old Trafford for 50 fans of the Japanese team to make up for the cancellation. A nice gesture.
