i would like to hear people's predictions for the Vengeance PPV this Sunday.....so here i go with mine, forgive me if i miss out a match....
Tag Team Table Match Bubba & Spike Dudley vs. Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero
a match that IMO could go either way, but i'm gonna go for the bigger names in Eddie and Chris to pull this one out.
WWE Cruiserweight Title Match Jamie Knoble vs. Billy Kidman
another toughie to call for me, but i will go for Billy purely because Jamie has had the title for a while now, not too long, but a while. and it would leave the possibility of a Rey vs. Kidman fued in the near future, a match i'd definately wanna see.
No Count Out/DQ Match Booker T vs. Big Show
i'm hearing lots of rumours of an apparent push for the Big Show being in the works in Kevin Nash's absense as the 'Big Man' of the federation, a win over Booker would definately kick-start that push, so he gets my prediction on this one.
Triple H's Decision Raw or Smackdown
i think he will stay put on Smackdown with Stephanie, purely because it seems the WWE is trying to convince us of the opposite, sometimes the WWE makes it look like one thing so u dont expect the other, sometimes they telegraph this though. i don't think it is too obvious in this case, but i do have a hunch after the end of Smackdown that they may be trying to set up a surprise by making him stay put on Smackdown, it would also lead to a reconsilliation with Steph, or the continuation of their fued.
WWE Tag Title Match Edge & Hogan vs. Storm & Christian
i'm starting to sound like a broken record, but this is yet another tough one to call for me, this time for 2 main reasons...
1. Hogan & Edge only recently won the titles, and a run as a tag team wrestler may keep Hogan going longer, it's less strain on him.
2. A win for the anti-americans would give that storyline a major boost and give the faction some major legitimacy in the federation, and championships may lead to more followers in the group and would improve the story even more as the american crowds seem to really be reacting to them.
but in the end i'm gonna go for Edge & Hogan, cos i'm sure there are other ways to boost the anti america story, and Hogan as a tag champ is good for his career.
WWE Intercontinental Title Match Rob Van Dam vs. Brock Lesnar
as much as my heart wants RVD to win, i'm convinced Brock will win this one on his way to Summerslam, and make the title match at Summerslam title vs. title...for the first time since Warrior vs. Hogan at WM XI. if the match had the stipulation in which Brock's title shot was on the line then i might see RVD pulling off the victory, but in these circumastances, unfortunately i see nothing but a Brock win.
WWE Undisputed Title Triple Threat Match Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle vs. The Rock
hard to pick a winner once again, but i think this one has Taker's name written on it. he seems to be building a fued with Brock, and Rock and Angle seem to be starting a fued off to one side...Taker also seems to be making a gradual turn towards being a face again, i think he will be the fan favourite in the main event come summerslam.
well, there's my 2 cents, but come monday mornin i doubt if it will be worth a penny.
