I think he has the potential to be a big player, but his attitude problem just might hold him back.
Schalken is currently playing Gonzalez. Schalken is leading 5-4 in the first set. Looks like it's gonna be a close game. | Well, besides the 5 set thing, I also donīt like the ground. I personally prefer a tournament with gravel or grass. Roland Garros and Wimbledon are also my favorite Grand Slams. What is yours ?
Like I said before, Roddick isnīt the only player with an attitude problem. Safin, 19 or 20 years old and gets quite quickly angry.
I canīt wait the game, because my mom and sister are watching something else here. And since the computer is in the living room and not in my own, I canīt see it
5-4, close game then probably yeah. I hope for him, he is going to win. He deserves it. |

| Wimbledon is my favourite grand slam. Grass is my favourite surface. I love to watch grass court tennis. I also like the stadiums there. They are well constructed and good for playing tennis in. I also just like the fact that it's in my own country.
Well, it looks like it affects Safin more than roddick.
I hope you have been able to see some of the game. I haven't been watching it because Eurosport don't actually show live tennis all the time.
You have your computer in your living room that's different. The people I know either have it in an office or their bedroom.
We were right about the match, it is close, and long. It's currently 2 sets all and they are just about to start the fifth set. I'm keeping my eye on this one.
By the time you read this post the game between Roddick and Sampras will have been played. It's on at 7PM New York time, so it will be midnight here. i might keep track of it for a while. |

| UPDATE:
You'll be pleased to know that Scalken won his match in 5 sets 6-7, 6-3, 6-3, 6-7, 7-6.
Sampras is currently beating Roddick by 1 set. |

| The stadium at Wimbledon is indeed really nice. But itīs too bad that when it rains all games have to be cancelled. I heard that there were plans to make a stadium like an Amsterdam Arena, you can always play even when it rains, do you know what I mean ?
I donīt like it either that I donīt have the computer in my own room, but the computer isnīt all mine...a family computer
I have seen some of the match. From the tiebreak from the 3rd set until the end. Was a great game and I knew Schalken was gonna win. He could have finished it already in the 4th set, but doesnīt matter anymore, he is in the semi final!!
Sampras beated Roddick, which was quite predictable. Sampras - Schalken
Hewitt - Agassi
WOW, Schalken is with the big players now
It would be so nice for him to reach the final. This Sunday is his birthday and then he will turn 26. That would be an awesome present. But beating Pistol Pete....well weīll see. |

| I've heard about that. They suggested that there should be a roof over Center Court and Court 1, but I think that one of them can't have a roof as it would make the structure unstable, or something like that.
As long as it was a great entertaining match then it was good. Glad he won. Perhaps you can get a computer in your own room sometime in the future.
Sampras - Schalken: Sampras isn't unbeatable. He's very beatable if Schalken believes he can do it, so this one could go wither way ( keeps fingers crossed for Schalken )
Agassi - Hewitt: Again, I'm not really sure who will win this match. It's definitely one to watch.
Playing in the final would definitely be a good birthday present, and so would actually winning the whole tournament. Good luck to Schalken. |

| I also heard that the reason why the plan didnīt go through was because they wanted to keep a tradition ? They also played with open room, so there isnīt coming one ?! Just a thing I have heard.
Perhaps I can indeed. Iīm looking for a job now, so when I have one, I will probably be able to buy one in about 6 months. And we also get a new computer probably in October, but thatīs a "family computer".
I agree, Sampras is a peson who can be beated. But to actually beat him, Schalken has to play his best. Itīs possible ofcourse, letīs just hope he will. *keeps also his fingers crossed* |

| Tradition, yes I heard that too. They don't want to ruin the traditional feel of Wimbledon, which is ok I guess. I actually don't mind rain-delays at Wimbledon that much. I look forward to the day when you have a computer of your own. and good luck with finding a job.
Don't forget the Rusedski almost beat Sampras. They both played well but Sampras had the luck to beat him in the fifth set. Also Rusedski is ranked lower than Schalken. |

| I also donīt mind a rain delay, but as long it doesnīt take too much time. 2 days with only days isnīt that fun too watch.
Is Rusedki ranked lower than Schalken ? But I donīt know who is better if they know had to play against each other, Rudsedki or Schalken... ?
Anyway, we just have to hope for the best. |

| Yeah, a short rain delay when your favourite player is losing can be helpful. It might just turn the match around.
I think if they played against each other then it would be a close match. Rusedski was seeded 33 for the tournament, Schalken is 24.
Being positive is always good. |
