I think thats the thing about this competition, I dont think the CL teams should be allowed back in but they only are to try and revive this competion. For instance, I cant see any of the matches on television at all. | |

Very close between Valencia and Besiktas. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Besiktas were to go through from this tie.
Newcastle scored first last night, but couldn't keep the lead until the end. However, they should be able to make their home advantage count in two weeks time. | |

Shearer was complaining because he was dropped, I agree with Sir Bobby on this one, Roy Keane doesnt play every game and doesnt go on like Alan does. | |

The UEFA Cup should be for UEFA Cup teams only, but allowing the teams that finished 3rd placed in the CL into the UEFA Cup does usually provide us with more exciting matches and most likely makes the tournament better than it could have been. Still, I don't really agree with the decision.
We had Liverpool - Sofia on Channel 5. Liverpool usually bore me when they're playing though, so I wasn't too interested. I'd rather see Newcastle or Celtic play. | |

I cant see Channel 5 in Ireland (well Rep of Ireland I mean) so we get nothing, I listened to Liverpool on 5 live. I dont think the tv companies are interested in it, bit like the rest of us. | |

I like the system where the #3 placed teams of the CL groups are picked up in the UEFA. Guves more competition and more exciting matches! | |

I think the TV channels should listen to the viewers more often, see what they want instead of putting useless crap on most of the time. | |

Yeah I guess so, I think Sky had this last year but seeing as they know people care about the CL, they scrapped the Uefa Cup. | |
