I felt really sorry for Kim, she deserves to win a grand slam title, I think she may need to change her game.

Me too. Unfortunately I haven't seen any images of the match, maybe tonight.

I predict Ferrero to overcome Federer and Safin to win the final.
Really?

Ferrero may be an amazing player, but he's at his best on gravel. Roger Federer (seed #2) reached the Final in 3 sets (6-4, 6-1, 6-4).

After a year, Marat Safin is back. In his earlier days he was angry very fast. When he wasn't happy with the way things went, he got easily frustrated . Things have changed.

for a second, i was in total shock - i thought i read : henman instead of henin - then i checked the date of the post, then i read HENIN. Tim Henman winning??? That is one of the hi-lites of the year for me - every year all the hype surrounding him an Wimbledon, then he crashes out

i used to get the same satisfaction when ENG spoke so highly of the Rugby team, and then went on to lose to southern hempishere opposition, but now with them winning the RWC, my mouth is shut

PS> i still haven't seen the winning drop kick yet.

Seriously though, back to tennis.

Federer is soo impressive. The way he goes about his game, such a complete player - i really wish he wins the Open, he is a thorough professional.

I don't think she has to She just needs to be determined and keep working.

She wasn't 100%, her ankle had been hurting throughout the whole tournament and Henin was in super form ...

Yes, like I said before, due to that injury she wasn't 100%. She still got in the final which is great, BUT she had to fight more to get there due to the injury and then after all of that, she had to face the #1 of the world, Henin who was in top shape both physically and mentally.

Henin was the deserved winner.

Henin would be difficult to beat at any time but I am sure Kim's time will come.

Kim beat Justine before in the past, just not in a Grand Slam final yet

If Kim and Justine stay free from serious injuries, I think it will be difficult for Serena, Venus or Mauresmo to threaten the second or first place! I don't see one of the many Russian players be consistent enough to ever threaten the first or second place.

We might well be in for a FULL year with a battle between Justine and Kim for the #1 spot.
