Tennis news everyone!

In the ATP Final in Bangkok #1 and #2 of the seeded players were up against each other.

Roger Federer - Andy Roddick (yes, again! )

And this time it was an easy final for Federer. He won with 6-4 and 6-0. Once again he proved he's definitely the #1 of the world.

At the WTA tournament in Seoul, the Final was also been played pretty fast.

Sharapova 6-1, 6-1 Domachowska

It's her fifth tournament victory.

And then there's also sad news. Kim Clijsters is again having trouble with her wrist. I think she better take all the rest she needs this year and then come back around the Australian Open 2005.

Anyone ever heard of Superset Tennis? It's a different type of Tennis match where the players battle it out in one set only. The same rules apply as in a 5th set of the Wimbledon men's competiton.

It was held in London with 8 players taking part - Henman, Rusedski, Marray, Ancic, Robredo, McEnroe, Ginepri and Becker. Ancic won the final 11-9 against Rusedski and also recieved a cheque for 250,000 pounds! Not bad for winning 3 sets of tennis! lol

Poor Kim.

The future of former world number one Kim Clijsters looked in the balance Monday after she was ruled out of action until 2005 after aggravating a wrist injury in the Belgian Open at the weekend.

Playing in her first competition after five months out after tearing her wrist tendons and undergoing surgery, Clijsters was forced to retire in Saturday's semi-finals when trailing 4-6, 2-2 to Russian Elena Bovina.

Initial reports suggested the injury was not as serious as the problem which interrupted her season, but tournament doctor Bruno Willems was pessimistic.

"This injury could mean the end of her career," Willems told Belgium's De Morgen newspaper on Monday. "I hope she comes back, but I'm pessimistic."

Her website said that a scan had revealed a new injury in the left wrist, close to the old injury, with a brace and inflammatory drugs being used to solve the problem. She is set to undergo more tests this week.

Clijsters said: "I hope I don't have to be operated on again."

"It's not yet clear what has happened," said her coach Marc Dehous. "Her tendon (which was repaired in surgery on June 12) might possibly be torn again."

"During the two previous matches Kim wasn't hundered by the injury at all, but she felt something was wrong while she returned a serve of Bovina. It might be that Kim won't be playing any more this year."

It didn't help her much though. In the Filderstadt Final she had to compete with Davenport and then you have a good idea who'll win.

Davenport won the first set with 6-2 and after that Mauresmo had to give up because of an injury. Maybe it could have been a good Final ...
