Andre Agassi proves it isn't totally over with him ... yet.

In the Quarter Final (Cincinnati) he defeated Carlos Moya in 2 sets. The tie-break was amazing, Agassi had 6 setpoints against him, he took over and finally won the set.

Semi Final Montreal:

Myskina - Lichovtseva
Zvonareva - Mauresmo

Go Russia!

I used to be a keen admirer of the talents of Lichovtseva, especially in the doubles.

I honestly have to see I don't really know her yet.

Kuznetsova, Sharapova, Myskina, Kournikova (and probably more ) are all I know so far.

GO AGASSI!

Hewitt 6-3, 6-2 Robredo
Agassi 7-5, 6-7, 7-6 Roddick

The Final will be between Hewitt (who hasn't lost a set yet) and Agassi (who seems to be back).

Lichovtseva 6-3, 5-7, 6-4 Myskina
Mauresmo 7-6, 6-2 Zvonareva

And here the Final will be between Mauresmo (who's gaining more points again to go to the #1 position) and Lichovtseva ( who's playing amazing this tournament ).

Fair play to Agassi, just as I thought he could be finished!

Agassi definitely IS Back! He defeated Hewitt in 3 sets yesterday to clinch the Cincinnati Masters. Aggassi won with a scoreline of 6-3 3-6 6-2. An amazing tournament for him after there had been talk about retirement in the near future for him .. but not on this form!

Maursemo had a very comfortable win over Likhovtseva .. 6-1 6-0! This pushes Mauresmo to #2 in the world rankings.

Coria has been ruled out of tennis for 3 months after undergoing surgery on his shoulder. This means he'll pretty much miss the rest of this year's tour, including the Olympics and the US Open.

Also, Capriati has pulled out of the Olympics, but her reason for doing so is unknown.

This part of the season isn't his best anyway. Gravel, that's his thing.

And ... Serena Williams will also not be at the Olympics 2004.
