Davenport is indeed doing very well! Surely she'll be the favourite for the US Open later this month.
Henin has confirmed she will be participating in the Olympics.
In the men's tournaments:
Roger Federer's 23 match winning run was brought to a halt today by Dominik Hrbaty in Cincinnati. Federer raced ahead in the 1st set and took it 6-1, but the 2nd set was much more closely fought, with Hrbaty taking in 9-7 in the tie break. Federer seemed to run out of steam a bit in the 3rd set, losing it 6-4. If Federer had won, he would have been the first player since Sampras in 1999 to win 24 consecutive matches.
Henman started very well in the Cincinnati Masters with a 6-1 6-0 win over El Aynaoui. He will face Arazi in the 2nd round. Rusedski also won in the 1st round. He defeated Enqvist in three sets 3-6 6-3 6-2.
