Sharapova had a tough encounter with Sugiyama earlier. She lost the first set 7-5 and the 2nd was very close .. until Sharapova took the lead, taking the set 7-5. Sharapova then took full command to win the 3rd set 6-1.

I dont really follow tennis, though i stumble into a tennis player. Maria Sharapova, and i most say she looks well she looks good .. hehe.

Agreed! Semi-Final and maybe Final could be possible. I see Henman beating Ancic, but then he'll be facing either Schalken or Roddick ...

The end of the second set was amazing and very exciting. In the end she was done with Sugiyama. She served good and broke the Japanese on love.

Yes Chris, she looks good. LOL But remember, she al;so plays good tennis. Take a look at the way she hits the ball (her fore- and backhands), nice.

Ladies and gentleman, Serena Williams is destroying Capriati! 6-1 in the first set and the same numbers are almost on the board for the second set.

And Ms Williams broke the serving record on Wimbledon, 201.6 km/h. WOW!

But I havnt ectually seen alot of games. well when I have i just look at well I dont look at the game..

Quarter Final is the end this year for Tim Henman. The new talent Ancic beated the Brit in 3 sets.

And also Sjeng Schalken is out of the tournament. Again, by ... Andy Roddick! But the Dutchman did have chances though. The first 2 sets were ended by a tie break in which Schalken had chance to break Roddick.

S Williams advances, 6-1 and 6-1. And Mauresmo advances too, which gives us these Semi's:

S Williams - Mauresmo
Davenport - Sharapova

Serena vs Davenport for me. I am glad Roddick won.

Seeing Serena beating Capriati quite easily, I'll go for a victory for Serena as well. What's the record between Serena and Mauresmo? They played lots of times against each other, but I lost count.

In the other one, I'm going for Sharapova, but that's obvious. I'm enthusiastic about that girl since the first time I saw her playing.

It's nice to see Roddick go through, but it's sad it has to go with a defeat for Schalken.
