| And the surprises go on ...
Amelie Mauresmo is also kicked out of the tournament. The French was defeated by Elena Dementieva, who despite her terrible serve, has an amazing return. The match ended in a 6-4 and 6-3 victory.
And sad news John, "our" ( ) Sharapova is out, 6-1 and 6-3 against Suarez. In loving memory of this amazing Sharapova Grand Slam ... in a couple of weeks she'll be back.
Now this is one of the best Roland Garros' in years. |

| Henman 6-2, 6-4, 6-4 against Chela! He now faces Coria in the Semi-Finals, who defeated Moya in straight sets 7-5, 7-6, 6-3. I hope Tim can go another step further. Women's Semi-Finals
Suarez(14) .v. Dementieva(9)
Myskina(6) .v. Capriati(7)
Whoever wins, we wouldn't have been expecting it two weeks ago. |

| Too bad to see her go, but she has a great future ahead
Two Russians in the semi finals!
Mauresmo, Serena and Venus out!
This turns out to be a very exciting and good tournament. The winner will be a surprise, that's for sure! |

| Henman 6-3, 4-6, 0-6, 5-7 Coria
He started the match well and lead 6-3, 3-1 at one point, but a winning streak of 13 games put Coria in a commanding lead. Henman fought back to lead the 4th set 5-3, but Coria showed his class to take the next 4 games and book his place in the final against Gaudio, who beat Nalbandian 6-3, 7-6, 6-0 earlier. |

| Indeed, it's not. That's why both players deserve to be in the final! |
