We still got Mauresmo (#3), Davenport (#4) and Petrova (#9). There have been tournaments where it was much worse!

1/2 finals

Henin - Mauresmo
Petrova - Davenport

It will be better competition when Serena is back in top form.

I think she might have forced her own body a bit by rushing things. She had been out for a long time and then she immediately came back playing two tournaments in barely two weeks ... perhaps a bit too much for her bad knee.

I think it is a bit quick but I can see why she did it.

I can't, before we (and she) know it, she re-injures herself ...

Amelia Island Final:

Mauresmo - Davenport

Petrova nearly surprised again, but after losing the first set Davenport had a strong comeback to win the last two sets.

Mauresmo defeated #1 of the world Henin in a nearly 3 hour thriller with plenty of top tennis, beautiful winners and many long rallies: 6-7 7-5 & 6-3!

The likely final between Serena and Henin got replaced by the unlikely one between Mauresmo and Davenport. Nice!

A surprising, but lovely Final.

And we're 2-0 behind in the Davis Cup ... we're losing from Spain. I'd say that isn't such a shame.

It's something else than expected and I like it!

We're like 2-1 up I think in the Davis Cup ... not really following that ... Yeah well.

Totally agree. If Henin wins every tournament it can get very boring.

I can see that ... Belgium isn't in anymore.

Quarter Final Davis Cup:
Belarus - Argentina
US - Sweden
France - Switzerland
Spain - Netherlands

HEEEYYY! Wait a minutre here ... if we're out, then where is our opponent in the 1/4 finals??
Both lost?

EDIT: We're both right!

Check this: Davis Cup
There's like more than 1 group ...

We still lead: 2-1
