Women's Final:

S.Williams (1) .v. E.Dementieva (5)

This will be the first real test for Serena on her comeback and I don't imagine it'll be easy. She dropped 8 games against the 25th seed Daniilidou, so if she drops anymore than that (I think there's a good chance) then she won't be winning easily at all. Dementieva put out Venus in the Quarter-Finals as well.


#2 seed Andy Roddick and Vincent Spaeda are through to the Semi-Finals and will play each other. The other semi will be contested between Coria and Gonzalez.

The Men's Final will be between Roddick (who defeated Spadea with 6-1 and 6-3) and Coria (who won over Gonzalez with 4-6, 7-6 and 6-1).

Belgian youth prospect Kirsten Flipkens (WTA - 387) made her return after 4 months inactivity due to a wrist injury. She immediately won her first tournament, the ITF tournament of Napoli.

Roddick won his Final due to a retirement. Coria won the first set in a tie break. The American took the second and third set, but after that Coria gave up ... unfortunately.

And ofcourse Serena Williams won her Final, 6-1 and 6-1 in 50 minutes. She's back!

Henman is still at #8 in the ATP Rankings as well.

Serena's win was impressive, but she might have to beat Henin if she wants to win the Bausch and Lomb event in Amelia Island this week.

Such a weird WTA ranking ... Serena won the first tournament she participated in, but due to the fact that her overall competition was considered/ranked weak, she lost a place in the WTA Ranking.

I'm excited to see the probable upcoming final between Henin and Serena
