Yes, they don't need to be distracted by non-tennis luxuries, all it'll do is delay their return to the peak of their game, or prevent that from happening at all..
Exactly

And also, spreading out the word that they're back to their old form, when very well realizing they surely aren't yet, could have a bad influence on their performances as well. Cause if you say such things in the media after coming back from a long inactivity period due to injury, and you get eliminated in a tournament by a medium player, will only demotivate you instead of motivating you ... and that helps no one anywhere further, on the contrary, only delays things ...

That's where you have to chose. State your own priorities. "What's the most important for me?" Tennis or something else?

Yes I guess you do but I am sure if they needed the money, they would be back but you get more money elsewhere.

If they just do it for the money, rather than their love for the game, perhaps they just should quit ... There are indeed other ways to gain money if you're famous, ways that are a lot easier than playing tennis and less tiring ... heh

Justine Henin won the tournament of Durbai by beating Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova (WTA 29) in two sets: 7-6 (7/3) and 6-3. This was her third tournament victory of this year, that makes 3 on 3 for Henin. It was her 17th WTA tournament victory of her career.

Next week she's playing the Doha Tournament.

Congratulations to Justine, I dont think they are like that and I dont think they are just in it for the money, I think to begin with it was for the love of the game but now they have a chance to experience other things.

Yes and they seem to be sold.

It's like their spirit changed from 'I can win it if I do my best' to 'Sure I can win, cause I'm the best anyway. And if I don't make it, well screw it, enough other things to do and go around!'

I'm afraid that's the kind of spirit which leads to ending your active career on a rather young age ... I hope not, but I'm afraid it could very well be the case.

I hope it isnt the case, I just think they have changed so much from the hardworking determined tennis players that they started as.

Indeed, it simply went to their heads ... 'I AM THE GREATEST! I don't have to prove it anymore, cause you all know I am."

They're not just tennis players anymore, they're cocky big stars now

If Real Madrid would ever start a tennis team, they'd be the #1 picks!
