Serena and Maursemo won't be playing in the Paris tournament.

Venus won't be playing in the Tokio tournament.

So it seems the gap between Justine/kim and the rest will only grow ...

Davenport is highly considering to end her career.

She won't be winning Grand Slams anymore, but a smaller tournament win ....

Lindsey Davenport has reached the Final in the WTA Tokio. She defeated the injuried Jelena Dokic in the Semi-Final with 6-1 and 6-0.

In the Final she'll be playing against Maleeva who had a walkover against Rubin, who had her walkover against Venus Williams.

Still with me?

Final WTA Tokio

Davenport - Maleeva (6-4, 6-1)

During the Davis Cup match between the US and Austria, Andy Roddick broke the record of the fastest serve ever! The old record was 239 km/h, Andy Roddick in 2003.

Now he served 241 km/h!

Clijsters is through to the final of Paris tournament. She'll play home contender Mary Pierce.

Venus Willimans cancelled her participation to the Diamond Games, the tournament held in Antwerp (Belgium). Her right knee isn't 100% yet.
