Also...

Brighton boss Steve Coppell has opened talks with Andrei Kanchelskis over a short-term deal at Withdean.
Kanchelskis, 34, has fallen out with his Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal.

The ex-Manchester United winger, who had a spell at Southampton last season, has been training with Albion as they are near his East Grinstead home.

Coppell told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "He looks a very, very good player - a very committed trainer.

"I'm led to believe he's had offers from Japan and Saudi - a lot depends on what he wants to do with regard to his family."

He sure damn is

Very good deal for Man U ... although in my opinion they needed a new midfielder more bad than a new striker ...

But anyway

I haven't had the pleasure of seeing C.Ronaldo play yet, but I was hearing earlier on Sky News that he is a very talented player. I'm looking forward to seeing him play in the first team.

I also saw a press conference with Charlton manager Curbishly and their new signing Di Canio. Di Canio seems committed to proving himself at Charlton and Curbishly seems confident that Di Canio will behave himself .... we'll see how this goes ....

^^^ That's a very big signing for Bolton ... Jardel is certified for at least 20-25 goals a season ... I think it won't be different now

Considering Bolton's new signing I think they'll stand a good chance of escaping relegation again this season .... and who knows, maybe they'll finish in mid-table.
