Cool

The more I think about that move, the more I'm liking it. Kluivert could do well at United ..... better not get to attached to the idea seeing as it's only speculation so far ........

Kluivert would be rather worth 'shit' when being played out next to Ruud. In football it's not just about joining big names, it's about finding players who complete each other. Both Patrick and Ruud like to play deep. Having two such players in your first team, gives a lot of space to your opponent between your own attack and your midfield.

That's how I see it.

I'm more a fan of officially completed transfers than of rumoured transfers

In todays Daily Telegraph it is reported that Arsenal are close to signing Tottenham right back Stephen Carr. That want a specialist right back so they can move Lauren into Midfield.

Also it has been reported that Chelsea and Barcelona have shown an interest in AC Milan defender Cafu. He is more likely to stay were he is but you never know.

Man U have also moved a step closer to signing Ronaldinho the fee is expected to be in the region pf £10million and personnal terms have been settled.

Leeds have won the race to sign Liverpools Patrik Berger he was also wanted by Portsmouth and Leicester.

DAVID O'LEARY is plotting a £2million swoop to bring Sheffield United's England Under-21 defender Phil Jagielka to Aston Villa.

ARSENAL are weighing up a move for Werder Bremen defender Mladen Krstajic. Rumoured fee $1million

I know this isn't transfer news but just some Nationwide league news: Chris Brass has become the youngest manager in football league history after being appointed York City manager, he is 27. Good luck to him.

Portsmouth want to sign Pierre Van Hooijdonk for around £700,000, also wanting to sign him are Bolton and Birmingham.

He was good when he played for Forest but he didn't do much in the Premiership, if I was a manager of any of those club I would save the money, he isn't worth the problems that will come.

It definitely looks like Ronaldinho will be a Man. United player then. A quote on the BBC website today from PSG Officials said that it was 99.9% certain that Ronaldo would leave for Manchester this summer.

As for Van Hooikdonk going to Portsmouth .... I'm not so sure about that one. Could be a good move, then again maybe not.

Newcastle have put five players on the transfer list: Nikos Dabizas, Clarence Acuna, Robbie Elliott, Jamie McClen and Wayne Quinn.

Leicester City have signed Steve Howey from Man City the fee is believed to be around £300,000

Birmingham have signed Franck Jurietti on a seasons loan from Monaco.

Bob Taylor is set to move from West Brom to Cheltenham

Gillingham have signed Ian Cox from Burnley on a free transfer

According to reports Arsenal, Newcastle and Liverpool are all interested in signing Jaap Stam for £4 Million. (I wouldn't read to much into this one it came from the Sun)

If Ronaldinho signs for Man U, there's no chance Beckham will stay. Becks' also the main aim during the upcoming president elections at Barcelona.
