| I agree with you on Van Der Vaart, I was impressed with Trabelsi. Good player from what I saw. |

Bayern Munich have signed striker Roy Makaay to a four-year deal from Deportivo La Coruna.
The German champions have agreed an undisclosed fee for the Dutch international.

| I haven't really seen anything of Trabelsi so I don't know how good he is, but I do know that Ajax have a talented squad so I assume that he is a talented player. Man. United need at least another full-back or defender before the season starts, so I really hope that they get one!
Southampton have had a £3 million bid for Sunderland's Kevin Phillips accepted by the club, so now talks between Phillips and Southampton will go ahead. Tottenham and Rangers are also interested in Phillips who has said he wants to leave Sunderland. |

| Bad News..
Manchester United have confirmed the £15m sale of Juan Sebastian Veron to Chelsea.
The Stock Exchange broke the news of the Argentine international midfielder's move shortly after 0700 BST on Wednesday.
Veron is set for personal talks at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday and faces a medical.
But Chelsea will be keen to secure the move before Thursday's Champions League transfer deadline.
"They have accepted our bid of £15m," said Chelsea chief executive Trevor Birch.
"Now, providing he wishes to speak to us, we can proceed with negotiating personal terms and putting him through a medical." |

| The Chelsea transfer bonanza keeps on going. How long before they get bored with signing new players!? .... I know one thing all these transfers will do, it'll make Chelsea interesting to watch during the season.
I'm disappointed with Man. United letting Veron go, maybe he hasn't been very impressive over his two seasons at the club, but just recently he has been impressive more often and it looked like he was finally settling in. Veron should have been given another season. |

| I agree, I am very annoyed with Utd and especially Peter Kenyon, after his preseason games, he proved how good he is and what he is capable of. |

| Also.. Wolves have signed Cameroon international goalkeeper Carlos Kameni on a one-year loan from Le Havre.
The deal is subject to the 19-year-old obtaining a work permit or a French passport that would entitle him to play in Britain.
Kameni had pleaded for a second chance after Wolves initially pulled out of a deal to sign him last week when he failed to appear for a medical. |

I hope that Ferguson has someone in mind to bring in as a replacement. |
